Art and objects in my 63 m2 Copenhagen apartment

Up until 5 years ago (40m) I didn’t really care about interior design at all. My thought was, as it is for many men unfortunately, that it didn’t matter that much. So why care?

I did have an epiphany of sorts though. I realized exactly how much the rooms we spend many hours in every day (office, our home and so on) can impact how we feel, our mood, inspiration and so on.

So rather impatiently I started totally redecorating my apartment just to learn that it does take time. Both to figure out what you like but also finding the right furniture and objects and experimenting with placements and so on.

I’m finally a place now where I’m somewhat satisfied with my living room and bedroom. Still got a lot of work to do on the kitchen.

Let me know if you have any questions

40m. My (small) Copenhagen apartment

This is my 63 m2 apartment in Copenhagen.

Up until 5 years ago I didn’t really care about interior design at all. My thought was, as it is for many men unfortunately, that it didn’t matter that much. So why care?

I did have an epiphany of sort though. I realized exactly how much the rooms we spend many hours in every day (office, our home and so on) can impact how we feel, our mood, inspiration and so on.

I’m finally a place now where I’m somewhat satisfied. I do hate my kitchen (which is why I haven’t included any pictures of it besides the one corner in there I do like). But gotta take it one room at a time.

I also like moving things around - it keeps it feeling fresh and my mind doesn’t get bored with it (helps fighting the urge to get something new - not always succesful there though, haha).

Let me know if you have any questions.

Edit: Wow, did not expect this to blow up this way. I don’t know if it is considered bad taste here to refer to your IG? But if you want to see more, I share my apartment on Nordic__morten on IG.
