Food noise, dopamine seeking, shifting of addictive behaviors…

I’ve posted on here once before, I am doing a bit better than that time but I still am getting intense cravings, mainly for carbs and salty foods. I am 26F, 5’2 and 125 lbs, looking to lose 10-15 and/or tone up/recomp via working out. (I know I might not see the number drop that significantly on the scale if I’m building muscle.) I’m working out 5 days a week and I am shooting for a caloric deficit of 200-300. Using MFP to track.

So I temporarily “solved” my food craving issue by shifting my dopamine hits to other activities. Mainly shopping, which will not be helpful in the long run as I don’t have a great stream of income right now… has anyone else dealt with this shifting of “addiction” behavior? Any advice or support is appreciated. It just seems like I’m trying to comfort myself by doing something else not good for me. Ugh, I just want this feeling to go away.
