Kitchen cupboard colour suggestions

Kitchen cupboard colour suggestions

TL;DR: cupboard paint suggestions

In the hopes of avoiding major expenses, I've been trying budget DIY hacks to refresh our kitchen. One of these has been peel and stick backsplash tiles. I'm not in love, but prefer them to the previous tile which we've lived with for quite some time (see the untiled section in the middle). The issue now is that the tiles are stark white and the cupboards are off-white (which wasn't a problem before the tiles went in...now it's very obvious). I'm fine to take off the cupboards and paint but would love thoughts on colour recommendations.

The kitchen is relatively shaded, so I was trying to avoid dark colours, hence the backsplash and white cupboards. Countertop is a black speckled granite, appliances are stainless. Open to colour combos (ie different top and bottom colours).

Trying to avoid ordering new cupboards altogether because the house is super old and standard doors don't fit, so it would need to be an entire cupboard replacement.

Thanks so much in advance!
