Room Details:
We have a downstairs bedroom going for $680.99/month + utilities, we are not asking for a security deposit! It's in a 5 bedroom (so you will have roommates!) two story unit near Hillsdale highway with in-unit washer/dryer, three bathrooms, a back porch facing a nature-reserve with a creek. There are three other units on the property, we have one apartment above us. The room we are renting has a sliding door with direct access to the back porch! The neighborhood is great for those who work/go to school in downtown PDX or the Beaverton area. We are in a 10 minute walk of major bus-lines such as the 54, 12, 43, and the 44!
My partner and I are moving out of our current home before the lease ends, but we are looking for a replacement to take over the vacant room so our friends can continue living there! The lease is being renewed officially in October with the same tenants, proof of income and a background check are required by property management. If you need until October 1st, please let us know ASAP!
It's a well-loved building from the 60's, best-suited for young people, students, or anyone just looking for a cheap room to rent!
Roommate Details:
We are queer friendly house with mainly femmes living here, please keep that in mind! If you do move-in you will be living with 5 other people, so 6 in total including yourself. There will be one cat living there!
Everyone is very introverted, no parties or having a ton of guests over. There's occasional movie nights, potlucks, or family visits but we let everyone know ahead of time if that's the case! We are all busy with school or work so we mainly keep to our rooms aside from seeing each other in passing when cooking, leaving for the day, etc.
Tours/Interviews/Etc.
Typically we do some kind of zoom call interview first so you can see that we are real people before coming to see the space. This protects both us and you as well! Once the initial background meeting is done, if you want to proceed my roommates will schedule an in-person meeting with you to meet them and see the space.
