You asked for it! Here is the full tutorial for the 3D Book (plus a free a script)

About a month ago, I shared a 3D book animation inspired by the Rooster title sequence. The response was absolutely insane, and my mind was completely blown when the actual artist behind the Rooster title sequence showed up in the comments.

A ton of you asked for a tutorial. I promised I would make one, but because there was so much ground to cover, it took a bit of time to put together properly.

Well, it's finally ready.

In this full breakdown, I show you exactly how the entire project was built from scratch.

Since building the manual page-turning rig and fixing the Z-intersections can be pretty tedious if you have a lot of pages, Good Rond built a script that automates the entire 3D book creation process. He's making it available completely for free.

You can read the step-by-step text breakdown, and download the source files here: https://www.motionboutique.com/learn/create-animated-book-after-effects

Thanks again to this community for the amazing feedback on the original post. Let me know if you have any questions about the workflow!
