Ophthalmology vs Ob/Gyn

Just got offered a position for Ophthalmology and Ob/Gyn! My experience is in Family Medicine and Urgent Care. Please give me all the insight to know about working Opthalmology and Ob/Gyn so that I can make my decision!

Both positions are for the same organization and they're offering me the same pay and benefits.

Not Retained vs Not Selected For Further Consideration

I am looking at my extensive MA applications for this organization and I am seeing a mix of either Not Retained or Not Selected For Further Consideration for my application status. Do these mean different things or are they both just saying that I suck and can't get the job lol.

Phone screen interview for a position that was no longer available.

I had a phone screen interview with a recruiter for my DREAM position this morning. Right as soon as the phone call started, the recruiter asked me why I am interested in this specific specialty over other specialties. I told her my lil elevator speech to pitch myself and then she tells me that she offered the position to someone a few hours before my phone call and anticipates for that person to accept.

She then asked me if I’d be open to other specialties and wanted to schedule interviews with their managers. I lied and said ofc and blah blah blah. Sorry for being negative and salty but why would you schedule this screening with me yesterday just to tell me an offer was given the same day as my screening. I get it, sometimes people don’t accept offers and they have to plan for other candidates. But I am just so distraught. This was my dream position and now I feel like I won’t have any strive or passion for the other specialties I’m going to interview for.

Seroquel

Currently on 300mg of seroquel. I sleep about 9 hours a night with this medication and it’s ruining my life while also saving me. It knocks me out and makes it so hard for me to wake up on time for work. But I love how stable I feel and how quick it makes me fall asleep. What other medications are you guys taking that doesn’t knock you out and keep you knocked out?

My side effects are frequent urinating, dizziness, high pulse, but surprisingly no weight gain or munchies.
