Glad someone put this request out. After putting this together, it feel much better to sit through. The first 3rd always felt a bit rushed, but in such a fun anthology horror you dont care much, but now the film has a slower pace & even darker black comedic tone.

The Batman Forever: Virtual Workprint - HD Rebuild

There are many fan edits of this film I think I have 4 of them, red book being my favourite. Sadly I do not have this edit, and being a teenager growing up in the 90s I have a fondness for this film, but the comedy tone never hit right for me so I'd like to try and make a more serious edit, but would love to see this version.

Does anyone have this edit please?

Workprint To HD Quality

I'm an absolute Massive fan of this film, and have always enjoyed the original workprint, but its quality and patchy sound makes it a hard rewatch, so I set out to make a more complete but accessible version of an extended cut of The Crow.

Based from the workprint, overlaying better footage, adding sound fx, music, removing scratches, crossfades, moving or reworking audio, adding parts from the Theatrical Cut if they could be incorporated into the cut, and after about 2 months, and with a lot of work the aim was to hopefully make a watchable enough version re-edited shot by shot to try to show a more HD version of the movie as it was before reedits and being rescored to make the theatrical cut more emotional, making the movie more of a romantic tragedy, and less of a gritty and violent supernatural urban revenge story to honour Brandon Lee who did not want to be tied to the legacy of action films from his father.

The scene where Detective Torres confronts Albrecht about T-Birds Death has a glitch in my file so some lines of dialogue had to be used from the theatrical cut, although half the scene could be salvaged to show changes from the theatrical cut. Sorry for this jarring change, I have tried to incorporate it as best I can.

New Hellraiser 4 Bloodline Fanedit for 2026

I finished my cut which I started last year but couldn't get the pacing of the film to work trying to keep it in chronological order and after watching Jaffa Cakes edit decided to reattach the space opening but heavily recut all of the film shot by shot and put back in bits from other the 2 workprints to create a film with better pacing, editing that feels less like a tv movie.

(Also each scene has been recut shot by shot and & the sound reworked to remove any weaker aspects & tighten the flow.)

After the end credits there are Unused Scenes, Original Dialogue of Pinhead & Angelique & Unfinished Fx.

My hope with this edit is to present a version closer in tone to the original two Hellraiser movies, with a more coherent narrative structure that removes any cringey moments, or weaker editing, fx, dialogue, reactions, scripting or acting. I laso liked the original idea of the ending being a surprise so I have removed all dialogue that refers to the films endgame plan.

I have really enjoyed the many Fanedits, especially the new jeffercake edit which influenced me to return to my edit with some fresh ideas on problems and scene layout (and use a shot from the 1st workprints opening credits over the box being made & giving me the motivation to return to the edit and reattach the opening in space which felt missed in trying to make a chronological cut.) This film sometimes has 3 choices of how to present scenes, and then as an editor the appeal to cross cut between them occurs. So although from a variety of sources from Blu-ray to edits the film should flow and not feel jarring to the sense. I hope to add another fanedit to the world that has fans trying to salvage this film from all the available material.

Shots have been reframed, sound moved, multiple sources for singular scenes, this was a work of love and faith that hidden under the releases and washing away weaker parts and tightening up what felt like a direct to dvd release of the Theatrical Cut.

Thanks to all other faneditors, and anyone who stumbles upon this & watches. Hope you enjoy this cut and new addition to the universe of Hellraiser IV edits as much as I have enjoyed all of the edits I've watched..
