No idea how many people know this, but Phase 3 Twingos have a rather accessible OBD port and with an old phone that has nothing else on it, I made myself a simple dashboard/cluster with something our cars never came with: a rev counter 😃

Has anyone here actually fitted 15 inch wheels to their Twingo Mk.1? I am looking into it as I also have some stainless steel mooncaps left over that I am planning to use on them (they have to be steelies though, no alloys).

Okay, i've searched what feels like the entire fecking Internet and for the life of me can't figure out where to get a power cable from the battery to the inside of the car so I can hook up the amp for my subwoofer. All the photos I found are at least as old as our cars and of such shitty quality that you can't see anything. Does anyone here, who has a subwoofer hooked up, have any pictures of how they made it past the firewall? I don't really want to pay for a professional to do it, i'm not that loaded down with money.
I wanted to add a bit of color to the Twongi's air inlet so I grabbed some primer and Petrol color from Edding (never knew they made something else than permanent markers before). Went through the car wash today and the paint stayed on 😄 The fuel filler door needs replacing as well and I already ordered a replacement that will receive the same primer and color combination.
I have already upgraded the speakers in the doors and the ones on the dash for better ones and installed a new radio since the old TunerList is a scratch mess. Now I am planning to install a sub in the back soon. My question is if I can just mount the amp on the underside of the tray in the passenger footwell. This way I could also keep the wires short and would only have to route the cable for the actual sub to the trunk. Has anyone here done it this way or is there a reason not to do it this way?
Has anyone here used an adaptor for the steering wheel remote? The old TunerList Radio has seriously scratchy sound so I replaced it with a Sony MEX-N4200BT headunit that has a 3.5mm remote input. Can someone recommend a manufacturer? I heard of Connects2, but I wanted to hear some opinions first.
Picked up this beauty today, Twingo Lazuli Edition from 2004, no rust and TÜV until July of next year. Speakers are completely shot, Radio is going to be replaced as well and an Android Auto screen was installed today, non-destructively, on the front dashboard :D
EDIT: Black hubcaps have been ordered to replace the shredded silver ones currently on there until stainless steel moon-caps in 14 inch are available again, which will be powder-coated in black as well.
What do you guys think, is a 30cm Rockford-Fosgate subwoofer too much?
