Headrest won't get in again

Hello, I had my headrest taken out so I could make my Twingo as a bed.

But now when I will put them back in it seems to not really want that.

I can get it half in and then it's stuck, it's only the driver side.

Can anybody help?

Sealing D7F exhaust studs

I have a 1997 Twingo with the D7F 8v engine. The studs for the exhaust manifold run through an oil passage (as I found out the hard way when one loosened up and fell out, dumping alot of oil onto the exhaust manifold and engulfing the car in a cloud of smoke).

I replaced the studs but noticed they're starting to weep oil again. Is there anything specific to be used on the stud threads to stop the oil from leaking out, and to stop the studs from backing out with vibration?

Steering Wheel Remote Adaptor.

Has anyone here used an adaptor for the steering wheel remote? The old TunerList Radio has seriously scratchy sound so I replaced it with a Sony MEX-N4200BT headunit that has a 3.5mm remote input. Can someone recommend a manufacturer? I heard of Connects2, but I wanted to hear some opinions first.

Searching

This is my car, and I’m on search for good options for new wheels. And I can’t seem to find good ones.

If you have recommendations for good rims let me know.
I try to go for 14” wheels (I have 13”), but if you have a good 13” recommendation it’s also welcome.

Community Twingo 1 Buying Advice

So im looking for a car at the moment and the twingo would be a little dream right now tbh. But somehow im a little conflicted rn. First I thought: 75hp engine and AC is a must to be a fun daily, folding roof on top at best. But relatively quickly came the reality that this combo is hard to find in a good condition.

Now i found a private offer for a blue initiale twingo without the folding roof, for 2500 €, with the initiale line leather seats, ac, in good condition 120k km. It seems like a good match, but somehow the twingo charme like the funky looking seats is missing. Guess this would probably still be a sensible choice for a daily.

Then i saw another one online, silver authentique, only 58hp engine with folding roof, funky seats but also no AC at a car dealer. This one looks fun but missing the other features. Also 600€ cheaper.

Just having a hard time ordering my thoughts whats important and what is worth the price, my target was around 2000. Whats your opinion on whats important as passionate twingo owners? Which engine? Roof or ac? Whats your story? Thanks in advance! :)

It Happened Again...

As you can see... the forbidden milkshake has returned (see previous post).

I drove for a good half an hour and I was giving it some BEANS. So the engine was definitely up to temp.

So, I think its looking more like a bad headgasket as opposed to condensation.

What do you guys think?
