Will removing rear brake light switch cause ECL?

I’m installing woodcraft rear sets on my track bike and I plan on removing the rear brake light switch. Has anyone here done this and did it cause an engine check light?

What does this part do?

I had some work done on my bike. ABS delete. Suspension upgrade. When I got it back this part was zip tied up. It has two nozzles that looks like hoses were supposed to be connected to them. What is this part called and what does it do?
