WFH Lunch - Spicy Prawn Gyoza Ramen

Got this recipe off socials and gotta say it’s a keeper. 4 M&S Frozen prawn gyoza boiled for a few minutes before adding the ramen and spring onion and packet broth for a few more minutes more soft, then mix in a tablespoon peanut butter, add more spring onions and then serve with a sprinkle of chilli crisp.

A super easy, quick and tasty lunch. An egg would be a good addition if extra hungry.

WFH lunch

Was debating whether to add a sprinkling of chilli crunch but went old school instead.

Does anyone remember how exciting this felt when you were younger?

My 15-year-old daughter and all her friends are going out tonight, and they are absolutely bouncing with excitement.

The weather is rubbish, they’re only heading into town, probably wandering around the park and meeting up with loads of others from school — and by adult standards it sounds fairly miserable.

But to them, it’s huge. It’s an adventure. They’re laughing, planning, buzzing around the house, full of that teenage energy where everything feels possible.

It really took me back to being that age, when even the simplest night out with your mates felt like the centre of the universe.

Does anyone else remember this feeling from when they were younger? That sense that a fairly ordinary night could somehow feel massive?

What a thing it is to be young, excited, and alive.
