Yurgh Wains "Great siege beasts"

They're also seen in the movie pulling Grond. They're stats are very low compared to say the Easterling monster unit or the mumakil. The scorpion monster unit gets incredibly strong too with buffs. Found the great siege beasts kinda lacking. I Googled'd them and I read something about them being slightly less tough than their 6 tusk mumakil cousins. I don't know what their stats should be but I found it strange a "monster" unit had just enough damage than like the Noi...(rhuduar) Beserker heavy infantry men at arms. Like 150 vs I think 200 damage. I also wouldn't know how to just justify making them near mumakil stats. But I found a miniature that kinda has them like a war elephant with a tower or something on them. Other than that, I was shocked to see how poorly spiders do outside of their own territory in relation to terrain. Whereas the scorpion monster unit seems to do well wherever it is without many negatives.

Harondor Palace Guards MAA

I'm not sure if they were unlocked or made available due to the title or the great project but they're a welcomed addition to the roster. Love the rangers. I was worried I'd only have generic heavy cavalry or have to somehow get swan knights. Definitely going to want to try this area again when updates turn out. You can make a lot of money here. Although I think Rhunteg is the only county so far I found where you can have the windmill, watermill, and the canvasari in each hub. With the barony Nazarn being to have all 3 and a trade port.

Is there a map of middle earth that says where one can build watermills, windmills, and canvasari? Kinda like this one for the vanilla game?

Just asking because with the new update although things will change with the districts, I figure we can get an idea of where things could go to help boost development.

The first thing i thought of was, "This is someone's CK3 playthrough."

Traits and idea feel like someone's playthrough on YouTube I watched. But still a good thing tbh. I should have used the image of one wearing a crown

Silk and silver update screenshot*

I know it's the vanilla game but I'm just excited to see how the interface will be incorporated into Realms or vice versa. The idea of being the middle man of middle earth trading is appealing. Like how Rohan traded horses and at times black colored ones were stolen for the Nazgul or something to that regard. Be nice to see how mining will tie into it all too. Like will our minerals, metals and gems become trade goods? It's an exciting idea. Makes one think about how important ones farms can be with the cereals. It's just nice seeing newer ways to make money in game where it's not all just tax.

+25% fertility artifacts x4 at last 😅

A whole lot of walking...but its done. Be kinda funny if these were combined and made into a chain or necklace of some kind. Also wish if you and your wife were twins...you'd more than likely have children who are also twins. Or like being able to commission a helmet. Like you can make shields and things. But you can't wear the shield in the regalia slot.

Cannibal kings mod referral for orc players

Just suggesting this mod for orc players "meats back on the menu boys". Just because it has a nice feature to get certain inheritance traits if you devour someone. But it seems you only get the level one trait which is fine and also fair. I didn't get far with the mod yet, I was just experimenting with it. Figured it would be something to do as a goblin player who is gluttonous with the "great fat one" religion. I couldn't see how you could get fat as a goblin. I always thought of Gorkil from B4me 2 and the Moria orcs. Give the mod a try and see of it helps you guys out. It's minor so I don't think it will do too much to affect the game. I also appreciate the giant scorpion monsters. I only get one for the scorpion Gorkil road in the b4me 2 game. I'm not sure if they should have the debuff for being underground but its nice that they don't. The spiders are also nice. Makes me think of the spider riders from that game too. But that's that, hope you guys try the mod and see if it does anything for those who roleplay.

Administrative Realms

Do you guys tend to convert to Administrative government in this mod? I feel like I slowed the game down too much. Is there also a benefit in leaving realms feudal or clan that are your vassals? I also think it has something to do with me not really having a good culture set up for making a realm Administrative.

Do Valemen or Woodsmen get any special units?

After making Rhovanion as the Leofrings and before that being obsessed with the Framlings, I wanted to know if the Valemen or Woodsmen get any special units. It was nice seeing the Royal guard of Rhovanion. It made me wonder if the other races of northmen get anything? This was also the first time I made the Hegemon title. The first time I united Rhovanion we only had empire titles.

Stumbled onto these. I normally don't see a lot of units. It's nice seeing monster units and the artwork. Makes one wonder what else is out there. Tbh, the gold armor Blacklock dwarves and these would probably look great together.

Playing "evil men" Rhuduar and Angmar

With obstacles being elves, the dunadain and dwarves, how would one best approach facing their armies? Would it be better to bring in the men of mordor and black numenoreans into the area by adventuring? Perhaps marrying them in hybridizing. Or is better to just use the hillmen there and branch out slowing integrating the orcs in the area? Has anyone done this sorta playthrough? I just don't feel the hillmen alone can do well against the good factions at all. Like one would have to somehow incorporate a blended army of men, orcs and trolls just to make a big impact enough to get passed the factions in the area. Solely men would be too difficult MAAs wise. Does anyone have advice on this?

I dont even think you need any more men at arms at this point. By far my favorite unit ingame. Really cant wait to try spiders. I just saw them

At what point...is it too much toughness.

Wanted to see what would happen if I put morgul wights on a mithril node...its kinda ridiculous because it's not all the way upgraded. Did it as Balin and I did use cheat engine to do this. Just wanted to see what would happen stat wise.

u/mrbb3k4 — 2 months ago

With trade coming what trade items from the lore you'd like to see in game? Especially in this mod? Other than mithril and elven gems? For starters lembas, pipe weed, and dorwinion wine

Tbh if we could do horses from Rohan too. Furs from basically anywhere on the map. It certainly would make mining important. I wonder how the city districts will work in the underground places? Like the barony in the mirromere will certainly be of note if one makes it a city or trade hub.

Cranial/anicronism combo

It's not lore friendly. But i noticed the benefit of having gold by breaking down artifacts and then finding myself with a bunch of them in a normal ck3 game. I figured bring this into realms in exile. The only unfortunate thing is that if you're "good" you can't capture orcs or goblins to collect their heads. You can duel them but certain mods that enable dueling do not allow you to collect the head artifact once the duel is complete. This includes certain battlefield duel mods. Now if you play orcs or goblins, you can capture just about anyone. You can can make religions and conduct holy wars with this as a resource for piety. I don't think it's an exploit per say but it does help with the great projects and things. Tried this with renaming the religions to "Balin's Folk" or "Followers of Azog".

What's the special building in Moria?

I just came back to the game. Was wondering what the special building is in Moria? Are there any new men at arms for dwarves, goblins or orcs in the mountains?

Hand cannon question

It's interesting to believe this is the unit we get when we unlock gunpowder. Shouldn't this unit do poorly in a jungle due to it being damp and wet? Like the damage should go down in jungle due to this right? Having been to the Philippines where it's hot and humid I can only image how awful it could have been trying to transport early medieval gunpowder in a jungle. I never had the opportunity to use these or rocket lancers since I'm one to spam cavalry. Is it worthwhile unlocking gunpowder? How do players use them effectively in-game? What do you pair them with to get more "bang for your buck" so to speak.

Is there a mod that adds back the seafarers MAAs bonus? Or the frugal armorers one?

Liked those for mods. Its easy to snowball in the game sure. Be nice if it was an in-game rule to leave them as they were but you don't get achievements in vanilla ck3.
