ROX Strix G16 Laptop CPU Fan Issue

Just looking for a bit of guidance here.

I recently had to do a warranty RMA for a laptop (in the UK) due primarily to this fan issue, however I reported a secondary issue also, which seems to have been the issue they have tried to fix by replacing the insulation layer of the motherboard (a power kernel issue I was getting once every few weeks while the laptop was plugged in - the return slip from the RMA indicates "Mylar Main Board" was replaced which, having googled, appears to be the aforementioned insulation layer). Having had my laptop returned to me I still seem to be experiencing the fan issue.

Having opened armoury crate, I can see the CPU fan is randomly ramping up to max speed (6500rpm), even with the CPU usage being as low as 1% when it happens.

Despite my admittedly somewhat limited understanding of hardware, it does not seem to me that replacing an insulation layer of a motherboard would be expected to resolve a fan issue - would I be correct about this or not?!

A nice mixed engine including a wetland Raven.

One of my favourite engine types, a mixed tucking/resource generating one. Playing against 5 hard ai where, somewhat unusually, they weren't giving many resources.

Other visible to draw cards early in the game I didn't manage to get were Bonelli's eagle and Chihuahuan Raven. Bonelli's would have been nice but the Chihuahuan wouldn't have proved useful in the end. The Raven I did get appeared in the 2nd round, at which point I had already played the Green Pheasant and already had the Mourning Dove in my hand!

Once the engine got rolling (mainly using the Raven to gain wheat for the Crane) the only bird I played was the Great Horned Owl which proved to be worth 13 points due to matching my initial chosen bonus card and the first one of the 2 I got via the Phillipine Eagle. Mourning Dove ran out of egg slots with 2 turns left, the Baya Weaver with one turn left, didn't get the Sandhill Crane down until the 2nd turn of the 3rd round but it was only one activation behind the Weaver.

Aside from a full tuck engine, what other types of engines do you all like?
