Easy way to convert Word to EPUB that works on X4

Goal: Read Word (Docx) on XTEINK.
Use case: I write for a living, and sometimes want to proofread a draft on the go.
I've tried a couple of options:

  • Calibre (Memory error, formatting issues)
  • Export to PDF -> XTC (doesn't open)
  • Custom Python script -> Doesn't open or memory error after 16 pages out of 60
  • First convert to markdown, then markdown to epub -> Doesn't open

The slim alternative to jeans for cold weather that doesn't make you look like a mountaineer

I like jeans because I it doubles as professional and casual (professional etiquette in tech and university isn't suit only in Europe. But, it is so bulky. I know Uniqlo has some very flat packable pants, but these are thin and warm (airism stuff).

But what can I pack that works with 0-15 degree C weather, and doesn't make you look like a mountainair— looking at you with 18 pockets cargo pants look?

I've tried some searching on Google, this subreddit, but the answers are mostly US oriented or suggest Eddie Bauer gear.

Edit: So, instead of jeans, what works well for <15c temperatures, that doesn't make you look like a mountaineer. Those thin things or linnen are too cold.
