The conditions of the westbound bike lanes on Ponce (directly across the street from Ponce City Market) are flat out negligent.

I understand that the roadwork in Atlanta never ends and there are many roads, bike lanes, and sidewalks around the city that need improvements, but I believe the bike lanes here are in such poor shape that the city is potentially exposing itself to lawsuits.

This area has high bike and scooter traffic, but many riders refuse to use the lanes because of how dangerous they are so they instead end up endangering themselves in the high traffic car lanes or endangering pedestrians on the high traffic sidewalks. This area is directly across the street from Ponce City Market, adjacent to the Midtown Plaza shopping center, near Murder Kroger as well as dozens of other shops and apartments/condos/lofts, and intersects one of the highest trafficked areas of the Beltline. It's also in a valley on the bottom of two steep hills where bike riders can reach pretty high speeds when descending.

There are large gaps, holes, and craters surrounding the sewer grates here, and one set of grates is even aligned in a way that a bicycle tire can go straight through the grates in a dedicated bike lane. It's incredibly unsafe and the city needs to prioritize addressing this before someone is hurt and we are all exposed to that liability. I emailed the district's council member (Kelsea Bond) 7 weeks ago but unfortunately she hasn't responded.

The amount of parking I can see from my office window in Peachtree Center (one of the most dense parts of the city)

The GSU Commons in the top left has a parking deck too, but it's hard to make clear in this image. Of course many of these non parking structures have parking underneath them as well, including the building I'm taking the photo from.

Looking for a solid gravel bike for urban riding, commuting and occasional trail excursions under $1,700 USD

Hello! I've recently been looking to upgrade from my college bike, a Fuji Absolute 2.3 hybrid bike. It has served me well, but I've been fortunate enough to live in places where I can bike a lot and I've been looking for something more refined and enjoyable. $1,700 is a hard cap, I'm not willing to go above that at all and I'm 6'5" so finding a used frame my size around me is kind of difficult from when I've been looking.

I've been gravitating toward gravel bikes since they're all the rage and seem to fit my needs. The Giant Revolt 2 in particular seems nice for the price and I even test rode one at the local store. I just want to know what else I should be considering in my price range since. The Specialized Diverge 3 and the Marin Nicasio 1 have both caught my eye and are also available locally which is nice. I would like something with relatively upright geometry since I'm new to drop bars and I'd like to be able to keep my head on a swivel when dealing with Atlanta traffic and pedestrians on our shared use path. I also would like to be able to mount some racks and things for use in commuting or grocery runs.

I'm open to anyone suggestions!

Alt+; now opens an emoji keyboard instead of selecting all visible rows

Has anyone experienced this? After a recent update, now when I try alt+; to select only visible rows, it appears that a Windows hotkey command overrides the Excel one and opens an emoji keyboard instead. I don't need or want this so I'm wondering if there's a way to turn it off or a new hotkey combo to select visible cells in Excel.

Solved: my Keychron keboard's firmware appears to be the culprit as the issue isn't duplicated on the laptop's keyboards. Sorry for being dumb!
