How long did your STVO/Führerscheinstelle registration take for a Class B Umschreibung?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently doing an Umschreibung (conversion) of my foreign Class B driving licence in Wuppertal.
My driving school told me they submitted my application to the STVO/Führerscheinstelle on 22 May, but it’s now been almost 2 months and I still haven’t received any update or confirmation.
The frustrating part is that my driving school doesn’t want me to start my practical driving lessons until the registration is approved. Since this is an Umschreibung, I don’t have mandatory theory lessons, so I’m basically just waiting.
Is this waiting time normal in Wuppertal? How long did it take for your application to be processed before you could start practical lessons or book your exams?
