[FOR HIRE] Senior C#/.NET developer looking for next position - Blazor

I'm starting to line up my next position, as my current contract is likely to come to an end in the next month or two.

I've been working with C# for over 20 years and have 30+ years experience as a software engineer/analyst.

Some of you may know me through Blazor University, which I created as a resource for learning Blazor. I hope some of you here have found it useful over the years.

I'm looking primarily for remote C#/.NET/Blazor contract work, although I'm also open to permanent positions and occasional office visits. I'm based in Staffordshire in the UK; Birmingham, Coventry, are okay for regular office visits and I will travel further for rarer visits.

If you know of any opportunities where my experience might be useful, please DM me. I'm happy to provide my CV and further details.

My email address is mrpmorris@gmail.com

Free assisted communication app for Windows/Android (phone/tablet)

Hi all

My brother's step-son had a stroke in his 40's. When he woke up, he could only move his eyes.

I met him when his mom asked if I could use my programming skills to help him communicate. I developed an app for him that runs on a Windows computer or an Android phone/tablet, I named it BlinkTalk.

He used BlinkTalk before he died, my brother's wife told me his children used to sit on his bed and chat with him.

He became a good friend of mine, it's amazing how funny someone can be just with their eyes.

Sorry, I am digressing 😄

I've released BlinkTalk to the public in his memory. It's forever-free of charge, no adverts, no data gathering, just completely free.

Using a simple repeatable eye or facial gesture (like looking up, or moving an eyebrow) enables people with Locked-in Syndrome to speak again. I hope someone will find it useful.

Installation instructions and an instructional video are available on the website.

Is Apple Mac Studio M3 Ultra 256GB RAM 2TB SSD 28C CPU 60C GPU Z1CE000RR - Open Box worth $9,999 USD?

If so, how much are they worth?

GDX Spark

Hi all

I'm considering buying 1 or 2 GDX Spark compatible devices (maybe Asus Ascent GX10 or Lenovo ThinkStation PGX GB10).

I'd like to have a play, but I am not exactly sure what I'd like to do with it/them.

What would you do with them? Or, if you already have some, what are you doing already?

I already pay £180 per month for Claude Pro. I doubt they'll be able to compete with that, will they?
