Who is Nolan closer to in power, Conquest or Anissa? Which is more likely? Him defeating Conquest or Anissa defeating him?

Nolan used to be considered on the same level as Conquest but Conquest pseudo-upscale in the BB comics has raised that bar significantly. You can see how powerful a casual Conquest even is compared to the other high-end Viltrumites given how easily he can break Mark’s bones (including the femur of all things)

So would you say Nolan is still the 3rd-4th most powerful viltrumite by a significant margin? Or is he more in line with other elites in the likes of Anissa, Lucan, or Kradd than Conquest?

Where I scale and rank Viltrumites using arbitrary power numbers

Some notes:

• An average human in real life/this verse would get a power number of around 5-15. Just to give an idea of how powerful these numbers are

• Thragg in his debut comics would be about 2,700 due to being able to harmed by Mark and 4 viltrumites at once. The show upscale and his post-exile after fighting Battle Beast put him at 3,000. The speed feat of decapitating Thaedus in the show before anyone could perceive it makes me think it’d be difficult for any number of viltrumites to touch him let alone hurt him.

• Emperor Mark scales after defeating Thragg in the sun. Epilogue Mark is near featless.

• Originally I had Conquest at 1,750 but moved him to 1,850 after Battle Beast.

• Post-Eve Resurrection Mark before the final fight likely scales at 2,500. I skipped versions of Mark between S4 and then due to them not being adapted and not having clear strength milestones besides beating Nolan in an arm wrestle in issue #106.

• S3 Mark imo starts at 1,225 but reaches 1,300 when bloodlusted against Conquest.

• Randee represents The Average Surviving Purebloods beyond the Great Purge and Scourge Virus. Still very powerful just not on par with the named characters, but all of the surviving 50 should at least be over 1,000 due to empire hierarchy valuing strength above all. We see even the no-namers can put up brief fights against higher up characters Mark and Allen in the war, which I think means all the surviving viltrumites below Thragg can do small moon level damage at least, with the stronger ones being higher using other feats such as Viltrum destruction.

What kickstarted the sudden upscaling of The Immortal in this sub? Now overrated or still underrated?

The fraudmortal allegations during S3 were painful and he was never weak despite what the constant memes. With a common argument I saw being that he couldn’t rip the Maulers apart like Oliver did, which is just blatantly wrong.

Buuuuuut I’ve noticed as time passes in this sub he is at least top 3 frequently posted characters, most of which being good debatable matches (There’s still no clear consensus on Immortal vs Zoe). But I noticed a frequent amount being either obvious wins for him or tweaked matches so he can win (I see the one where it’s him vs Nolan with equalized stats like once or twice every month)

And eventually the consensus shifted from “Oh yeah Immortal can hold his own against viltrumites for a bit despite being outclassed” to “Oh yeah Immortal CAN kill viltrumites, and isn’t not far below Omni-Man.” And he tends to have the most defensive fans in the sub about it.

Which while Immortal does has some great feats, I think some context is left out at times. When Nolan was critically injured by the guardians Immortal had 3 key helpers (Red Rush who saved him from being speed blitzed and damaged Nolan a LOT before death, War Woman’s who mace likely did the most damage overall, and Martian Man who held Nolan down long enough for them to get a lot juicers in).

As well as in their rematch, Nolan didn’t perform very well throughout all his battles that day due to being mentally drained having to carry out his mission. The most notorious example is him struggling against 3 reanimen despite Invincible being able to obliterate a larger group of them in Season 3.

And this is largely considered Immortal’s best performance in the series. He did put in some good work against Omni-Man, who as was focusing on saving Mark; but he was drawing blood and even briefly overpowered him in a clash. Afterward though it’s worth noting Nolan easily counters his punch and pierces him. This checks out with the alternate fight (which the scaling shouldn’t be any different in this dimension, as it’s essentially a simulation of what would happen if Mark accepted Nolan’s pitch.) where Nolan dispatches Immortal in 5 hits (3 of which severing his limbs and head).

There’s more to cover across S2, 3, and the comics (notable anti-feats) but I wondered to share my 2 cents on his most mentioned feats and leave the rest of the discussion up to the comics. I will say my verdict is I think Immortal is a multi-continental (as seen in his emperor backstory and the impact from his clash with Omni-Man in the air cratering the ground) level superhero, who can do respectable damage to named viltrumites but still is massively outclassed in every stat minus regeneration.

What do you think? Overrated or underrated? Is he Viltrumite level?

Official Reboot Rotation Sheets

Pretty cool to see the reboot production leaked after 3 years. It’s been the season we’ve known the least about writing process wise for a long time.

How would you rank the non-viltrumite villains strongest to weakest?

All these characters in the previous two seasons were either shown to be world-ending threats or upgraded to be able to take down earth’s strongest heroes and sometimes Mark himself. So who’s the strongest and who’s the weakest?

S3 versions of each character (S4 for Sequids). Maulers get the nerve cannon and Seismic gets his creatures.

No Dinosaurus because in the show he’s featless and in the comics >!he’d sweep this list!<

How would you rank these characters from strongest to weakest

S1 Allen and S4 Oliver only

All characters who are a step above superheroes but still not quite at Viltrumite level.

EDIT Little Bonus: Can Atom Eve beat any of these guys with limiters?

Battle Beast: Frequently said here that he’s stronger than Thragg by miles despite being explicitly deconfirmed. This is mostly from tiktok viewers

The Immortal: I’m seeing quite often on this sub saying he can beat mid-tier viltrumites (including 90% of Mark variants) and is the strongest character on Earth. Despite many things in S3 disproving that. Also people calling him stronger than Tech Jacket

Sinister Mark: Another tiktok character, seen a few times using Sinister’s statement of killing Nolan as definitive proof him and S3 Mark are stronger than Omni-Man

Hail Mary: I think people believe Hail Mary was objectively more powerful than Nolan in their scene, which is one thing. But I’ve been seeing posts asking how many RAGNARRS it’d take to beat her.
