Long ball is such difficult playstyle

Tried long ball, lost 9 times, almost consecutively and only won 2. Almost every pass is intercepted. Try lofted pass also lost heading or lost second ball. Mostly against LBC which practically, half players is inside their box. Long ball also very passive in defending so barely make any intercept toward long pass to counter.

In the end, playing LBC with 6-7 defending players and just play through ball is the only way to win consistently.

The game mechanic has some lag that make your player freeze after you lose ball so long pass to counter will always success, even through the middle where I have multiple midfielder who can intercept it. They just froze because of the game mechanic lag when switching between attack and defend AI.

Even my player is not reacting to get the ball when it is just touch opponent player for a bit.

Really difficult in playing football with this game.

GK is now so crazy

Play about 15 games in div 2.

3 games, the opponent GK had 7 or more player rating.

In total about 7-8 games, the opponent GK had 6.5 or more in player rating.

I couldn't win 3 game in a row when the GK basically save everything.

I lost because I just cannot score goal. I had many chances but the GK was so crazy.

Courtuis, Nueuer, Kahn, Schmeichel. it seems every single GK is buff.

Meanwhile, my GK only 1 time got rating 7.

My take on Overload playstyle

So, I have been using overload for online PvP in event.

I play quite a lot. Got some wins and loses. Won big also lose big.

In my opinion, this playstyle is a but too unbalanced. It is focusing on where the ball is, which for people who tend to bait opponent to one side to make other side empty to expoit it, is very awkward.

I usually play possession so my strategy is to pass all over the place to make opponent player scattered and leave a space. With this overload, you cannot do that as no player on the other side.

Passing also feels awkward because of the narrowness between player. 1 opponent can pressure both passer and receiver because of the close distance. Dribbling also very difficult as there is simply no space.

Against QC, it is also very vulnerable due to very high line of defense.

Against LBC, this is probably the craziest. As you know, LBC can put 6 to 7 players near their box. Add your attacking player and it is basically like a cramped chicken coop.

Due to the narrowness, if your pass is a bit strong, your receiver will need to chase it and often lose the ball.

With the narrowness to, playing with not so good connection really difficult. You just don't have time to hold the ball a bit longer because opponents are easily closing down to both passer and receiver.

That is my 1st impression with this playstyle. Still cannot fluidly play as I still learning it.

Rating inflation is way too crazy man

Mine now is 1892 and it is almost rank 350K. What the actual hell is this? It is like everyone can reach 1900 easily nowadays.

Regret spinning in this game

I spent 65 USD to clear Mbappe big time pack. Really crazy . I only getting 1st showtime when it was 40 remaining. Get 2nd showtime when 30 remaining and Mbappe when it was 5 last cards.

To be honest, this is the worst I open pack as previously I was F2P. I plan to just buy to spin 5 multispin to get whatever good card and I didn't get any. I expect to get 1 good card every 50 cards but no. All 3 was at the last 50, even Last 40. That odd is very small.

It is not worth it I guess. Probably last time I will ever pay for this game. Fortunately, there is discount in coda shop so my damage is still controlled.

What is wrong with possession game?

I play possession game. Feels like, this play style really passive. I always feel outnumbered in every aspect of the game. When attacking, there are only 2-3 players while opponent always have at least 5-6 players, especially LBC opponent. When I counter attack, literally only 1 player available up front. When I defend, the DMF really passively engage defending and easily bypass since he just watching the ball without any willingness to move and intercept the ball. Opponent can do passing without any player being marked or pressed. Really crazy. I have tried a lot of formation, 4231, in. theory, would have a lot of passing options, but no. the 3 will be too deep or spread too far and cannot do anything. My single CF will be marked heavily by 2CB. If I use wing, lke LMF or RMF, the passing to the wing always cut and intercepted. Nothing feels working with possession game. The passing is not fluid, positioning is always dumb, always hide behind opponent player. What the hell is happening with possession game?

Quit division because Vieira

Face a lot of Vieira users. He is always really strong. I always check his rating after the game. Never goes below 6. Basically, always perform really well.

His AI is so smart, can predict potential passing targets, really fast. Really difficult to face.

Always losing if I face him. Even cannot score a goal. Everything is intercepted or my player gets bodied and tackled.

Also, it is the AI, not the players who are good. I can literally see those P2W move to a good position or even tackle without a cursor.

To be honest, F2P just cannot compete anymore. F2P AI is not that good or at least not consistently good while those P2W cards has really good AI and so consistent

Frustated with my passing

Just in the title, if you cannot pass, you cannot play.

Every match, I always struggle with passing, almost all forward pass intercepted, passing direction is like gatcha, so random.

While my opponent can literally pass from his box, by CB, to his CF without my player reacted at all. Opponent can make passing I never dare to dream, one touch heel pass by his CF, lofted behind my CB, etc.

Something must be wrong with my gameplay. I just don't know. Even I lost to div 3 player while I usually top 1M player.

Something with ST Ferran Torres shooting

So, I got world cup Ferran Torres show times and have played several matches. Does anyone notice his shooting is way too powerful compared to the power bar? It seems the ball animation is really fast. Even compare to my Batistuta with similar kicking power.

Even sometimes I don't expect the shot to be that strong but the animation shows it as very fast movement.

Is this some kind of unique ID for this card? My build for him just has kicking power around 90/91. Not like 100 or so.

His skills are also not related to shooting, attacking surge and phenomenal finishing. I am really surprised.

Manulife Income secure plan

I am a financially literate person. I know how to invest and I do have investment in stock, bond, fixed income mutual fund, etc.

I just got offered this plan and sign up for a small amount 400 SGD for 5 years. I just think why not trying this as I already don't have high expectation for this plan. I also treat this as forced saving for at least 10 years. But seeing the plan, is it really that bad? I mean, I feel bad just seeing the expected yield after 40 years as it is only 1.8%.

Who actually buy this kind of fund? Not like me for just trying, but are there any people who really believe this kind of investment?

World cup campaign my summary

Finally, the campaign is finished. To summarize, I got bunch load of shitty POTD with only a handful POTD cards which not better than their older POTW.

For spinning packs, as a F2P player, I save maybe almost 7000 coins before and during the event.

Spend 3x900 just to get Thuram from France pack. Which is okay and can get worse than that.

Another 4x900 to get 3 showtimes Spain champion. I got Cucur, Yamal, and Ferran. Add ons are Baena and Merino. For 3600 coins, it is a good bargain I would say.

For the free national start, shitty luck. Only got showtime from the guarantee chance and I got Sorloth which maybe okay I guess. Since I have edge crosser Cucur and also Kadioglu from previous campaign, worth to try cross spamming.

How is your overall world cup campaign summary? Since we all are expecting this event and probably saving coins.

Div 1 and network connection

If you are on not so good network connection, is it hard to go to div 1 or even win consistently?

I noticed that good player mostly able to do "impossible" pass or they are able to keep the ball better and not easily stolen.

What I mean impossible pass is passing that are still good even though it is under pressure or passing with such angle that it is not interceptable. Both, in my opinion, are only able to do with responsive network.

Same with defending. Good network equal more responsive positioning and pressing/takcling.

Anti-meta player

Anyone here prefer avoid meta gameplay? Like 4-3-3 with SS LBC Capello/Beckenbauer.

I never like playing with meta so I always avoid it and try for my own formation and gameplay.

It is not always working and I lost a lot but I feel satisfied. I am mostly F2P, a bit low spending with discounted coins (total spend arounf 15 USD for almost 1.5 years).

If you are like me, share your experience.

Par fund recommendation from DBS WPM

Hi,

I just contacted by DBS WPM and met the person.

I got offered Par fund from Manulife. Basically, I can deposit 500 SGD per month for 6 years and get interest plus yearly 300is SGD in year 4. I can only get the full amount + interest after year 6.

Never heard of this type of investment as I usually invest in mutual fund or stock directly.

I am familiar with insurance link investment which I think is mostly scam.

Is this worth to try? 500 SGD monthly is reasonable for me to try though.

Efootball and network

I just played 2 matches and the network is a flat 3 bar. I just realized that this game is basically unenjoyable if you don't have a proper network. It makes me only able to play at midnight to avoid network issues. Do you all have this issue as well? Even though your network is relatively good.

This game is really something. I hope Konami can figure out how to make more player can play without ultraspeed network or play in the middle of the night. This game is not casual at all.

Crossing accuracy is ass

I feel like recently, my crossings are very bad. The direction, the power, all very bad.

I use player with good stats and complete passing skill including pinpoint crossing.

Sometimes, the cross just go to the GK directly. What happened?
