Need some advice on a foil shaver to use to achieve a clean and close / bald shave without getting bad bumps

I’ve mastered my routine and technique to avoid bumps using an Andis T Outliner (exfoliate, tea tree, witch hazel), but I desire a cleaner, more consistent look.

I’ve purchased and used the Wahl foil Vanish shaver on 2 occasions and I’ve been left with really uncomfortable bumps for a week +

Any advice on a solid shaver / technique?
