I don't get it. Does it have to do with Rudy dying or is there more than just that?

We know Chapter 5 will be Asgore's Flower Shop, but what about Chapter 6?

I personally think it will be in the Shelter, as that's the one place with the most ties to Gaster, and since it's Chapter SIX (y'know, Gaster's number) it would be the perfect moment to finally reveal him.

But what do you think?

It's common knowledge that Kris is working with the Knight in some way, shape, or form. It's also widely believed that they're trying to find Dess.

I've seen people refer to this as "The Hometown Conspiracy". But why?

For the record, the definition of a conspiracy is:

A secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful.

You might say, "Oh but they want to start the Roaring!" If they were actually trying to do that, the Knight would’ve opened multiple fountains at once, instead of just one each day.

It's clear that there's more than just starting the Roaring...

We all know each Dark World ties into the theme of escapism in some way:

Chapter 1: Playing Cards and Board Games

Chapter 2: Computers and the Internet

Chapter 3: TV and Video Games

Chapter 4: Religion

It's also common knowledge that Chapter 5 will likely take place in Asgore's Flower Shop, aka Flower King.

But how would Flowers and Gardening tie into the theme of escapism?

I could just be rambling like a madman here, but think about it. The lyrics even fit:

When the light is running low

And the shadows start to grow

And the places that you know

Seem like fantasy

(We now know that refers to the Dark Worlds)

There's a light inside your soul

The SOUL can emit light, as seen in Chapter 4.

That’s still shining in the cold

With the truth

The promise in our hearts

Chapter 4's ending shows us that Kris made some kind of promise to Carol and/or the Holiday family. Funnily enough, the SOUL is shaped like a heart.

Don't forget

I'm with you in the dark

The SOUL is almost always inside Kris' body. We're pretty much the one person who never leaves them throughout the entire game.

And also the SOUL can emit light, as I said earlier. We truly are with them in the dark.

Am I just crazy or could I be cooking something here?
