Imperial Glass Rooster in Smoke Carnival

Imperial Glass Rooster in Smoke Carnival

This Imperial rooster is one of my favorites in my Imperial collection. This is a harder to find color and this picture was taken without flash. It really reflects light beautifully.

That is my test watermark in lower left corner btw.

Challinor Taylor Swan Circa 1890's

This is a closed neck Challinor Taylor Swan. This lid is a bit harder to find. Westmoreland glass made a similar top and will be marked with the WM inside the top. This swan should be sitting on what is known as the "Christmas Tree Base". Those are very hard to come across. This one is sitting on a smooth rim Challinor base. While I don't collect swans, I was immediately drawn to this one.

Kanawha Green Slag Satin UV Rooster

I love collecting Kanawha hens & roosters. The four point comb really sets it apart from other glass makers roosters.

I managed to score this hen for $20 at a flea market about 10 years ago. This hen started my love for Kanawha glass!

This beautiful Kanawha is extremely hard to find. Black was not a part of the regular Kanawha line. This is the only one I've ever seen and while I probably paid way too much, it was worth it!
