I’m an electrical engineer with an interest in getting a masters. I’m a bit stuck between wanting an EE masters or a sys eng masters.

Can anyone who’s done the sys eng program tell me what the program was like? Was the cost completely covered? How was the workload in addition to full-time work? What career outcomes came from completing the program?

I’m having a call with an admissions person from JHU on Tuesday, and I have some basic questions I want to ask. I just want to know if anyone has done the program and has any insight.

My last job wouldn’t fund a masters (or very heavily discouraged me from applying) so I’m very excited to continue my education!

I just started working for Raytheon as an engineer in late April.

I’ve seen a few posts on here mentioning that there isn’t just a typical 9 hour work day for most people. When it gets to crunch time, you stay longer, obviously.

What is the consensus on charging that extra time? Do you put it into mod time or overtime? I know both have to be approved by a manager. I know that you must accurately charge your time worked, since time fraud is a BIG no-go, even if it would seemingly benefit the company.

I’m new to the fandom and just finished binging seasons 3. I was wondering who everyone relates to the most in the show. I feel very connected to Stephanie and Florence, being a fat alt lesbian.
