Firstflex
Picked this up today. I have very limited knowledge or information about it other than it was produced in Japan sometime in the early 1950s. Mechanically it seems like it works but everything is super tight and seems stuck. Is it a show piece or is it possible to get it operational?

Is there any way to tell the age of an AE-1 by looking at the camera? My dad passed and I got his camera and I’m wondering what year it was manufactured. I know it’s a weird question but my curiosity is getting the best of me.
