Volvo v50 doesn’t blow warm air?
Hi. I have a Volvo V50 T5 2006 (pre-facelift) with ECC climate control.
Symptoms:
No heat in cabin at all
Both heater core hoses through firewall are hot
No coolant loss, no glycol smell, no foggy windows, no wet carpets
When I set climate to HOT/HI, airflow becomes very weak like blower drops to 20–30%
When set to cold/LO, blower can blow very strong normally
I can hear small noises/movement behind the floating center stack when changing temp
AC compressor/clutch also cycles on/off every few seconds sometimes
I scanned CCM and got:
CCM-0004 Passenger compartment temperature sensor signal too high/missing
CCM-0040 Air quality sensor
From what I understand, on pre-facelift V50 the cabin temp sensor/aspirator fan is behind the floating panel and connected to CCM.
Does this sound more like:
failed cabin temp sensor / aspirator fan,
stuck temperature damper motor,
CCM issue,
or something else?
Any common fixes or exact part numbers for pre-facelift 2006 V50 appreciated.
