These remain the most interesting chocolate chip cookie I've ever had, and I have eaten and made more than my fair share. I think they're probably using corn starch with the flour. And maybe cake flour? But how are they getting that shape? They're like round and square all at once. ๐
This plant was sprouting 3 days after I planted her and she's been loving life in the tent. I finally added a humidifier, and that has made a big difference, I think. Also growing in a 3 gallon pot instead of a 5, and I think that also brings faster overall rewards. She's growing so fast I nearly missed the window to top her. ๐ Always such a stressful moment for me. It's like I'm the one being trained. Haha
This might just be one of the most incredible strains I've ever experienced.
The terp profile has always given "holiday funk," even when still on the plant. But the longer it cures, the more it's reminding me of Thanksgiving. Rosemary/Sage/Cranberry. It is to cannabis what Christmas ales are to beer.
And it is definitely a nighttime strain. I an putting aside a handful of nugs to enjoy around then.
I can't wait to grow more of this.
I was recommended the Aurora Berryalis, but couldn't resist picking up some Green Crack.

I planted this little lady in a 3 gallon pot of Coco Loco saturated in compost tea (Recharge) on Friday afternoon, pulled off the dome today (Monday) and she's already sprung to life! I think that's the fastest seedling I've had so far. Living up to the Speedrun name already!
Plucked this off my Mephisto Hubbabubbasmelloscope x Ripley's OG. Funky little mutation where a bud tried to form where the leaf and stem come together.
My dad proclaimed it the best weed he's ever had, and he's been smoking since the 70s. I only had 2 seeds, and one didn't pop.
Are the other grape strains similar enough?
I compare it to a charcuterie board soaked in wine and gasoline. I don't think I have encountered a terp profile quite this distinct. Closest one I can think of is Permanent Marker.
This plant has grown up through the light bars. Next time I'll train it.

I love the crosses with Ripley's I've had so far, and this girl has been no exception. As she's entered late stage, her fade really kicked in. The buds are so fat. She's currently staked to hold her upright.
Just waiting for the pistils to brown and tighten up. The bubblegum-like terps coming off this are lovely. Can't wait to grow more of these! Hoping to harvest in the next few days.

Both of these gals have similar tall, leggy characteristics. Ravenberry is in a 5 gallon pot. Hubba is in a 10 inch terra cotta that I think is around 2 to 3 gallons.
Both were squeezed into the tent with a third plant, a grape crinkle I harvested last week, so they're happy to have some room to breathe finally.
I'm kinda laughing, because I did zero training on these plants, but Ravenberry almost appears to have 2 main colas instead of one.
I'm a writer and need to be able to lock in for a deadline. A creativity boost would also be welcome. I tend to avoid sativas, because I don't want to run too far in that direction and activate my anxiety, but am happy to try something in that range.
Anyway, if you have some favorite seeds to recommend for that purpose, it'd be much appreciated!
This Meph Grape Crinkle has been a wonderful grow. 72 days. The heatwave has been absolutely wicked but the plants haven't really seemed stressed by it. They're getting plenty of hydration and I dialed back the light schedule. I am a little worried this is gonna be an airy one after the dry, but we shall see. I have it in a pretty great closet in my house to dry now. Fingers crossed!
Day 70. Mephisto Grape Crinkle.
I'm doing the best I can to modulate things. Adjusting light schedule, keeping humidity around 50% with dehumidifier. But the temps are encroaching on 90F. VPD is around 1.6.
She looks close but I was hoping she'd fatten up a bit more. I just don't wanna cook her.
Whoever does your packaging and stickers... TOP NOTCH.
Maybe I'm weird but this is the kind of stuff that earns my brand loyalty (apart from the quality of the product itself, which I've yet to test but feel good about). I know it probably costs them a fortune to do all this. They certainly don't have to. But it definitely makes me remember them.
I ordered the Fatality three pack and got the Juice Pop and Jehovah's Witness seeds as freebies.
My only hope is they weren't cooked in shipping because of this damnable heat, but that's not their fault. They're packaged very well, so they'll probably be fine.
I'm building a hoop house outside in preparation for some outdoor plants. I wanted to use this as an elevated bed to grow other lettuces than the devil's variety, but... Would you grow weed in it?
With that much medium, I can't help but think I'd be growing a goddamn tree in there. ๐
I'm so glad I have this bar style of light, because at least the plants can just grow through it? Lol
Meanwhile, the grape lady is at day 63, and I am loving the way she's maturing. We have a nasty heat wave coming next week and I would love to be able to harvest before then, but I don't think she will be ready yet. I'm already planning on drying her inside the house where it's cooler, just to keep the buds from getting too airy.
If you're shopping for tents and wondering what will fit into a 4x2, here's your answer. 2 plants in 5 gallon pots, and 1 plant in a 1 gallon pot. I've been defoliating regularly to keep things comfortable, but they just answer by thriving even harder.
Left plant: Ravenberry (Mephisto) at 30 days. I keep thinking she's about to flower, but it hasn't happened yet.
Middle Plant: Hubbabubbasmelloscope x Ripley's OG (Mephisto) at 25 days. I have no idea what will happen with this plant, but she's determined to keep up. ๐
Right plant: Grape Crinkle (Mephisto) at day 46. Flowering like a mofo.
All in Bush Doctor Coco Loco sown with Grow Dots. Potassium Silicate every other water, Recharge once a week. Lights on 24-7.
Growing in terra cotta is more fun than I expected. I just put water in the bottom tray and watch it get sucked right up into the soil. The lady inside it (Mephisto Hubbabubbasmelloscope x Ripley's OG) seems thrilled to be there, but her sisters are honing in on her space. ๐
