Hello guys i have posted here about a week ago and i just wanted to Update and show you the progress.
those are my Frostbanger Autos (back right is a Gorilla Z)
Currently writing day 70 from Seed.
I was thinking to chop the 3 on the Weekend or on Monday what do you guys think?
they will receive their final watering with just ph water today i guess 🙌
i tried to take some tircome pics this time.
drying will be happening in an separate Tent unfortunately next week is supposed to be hot lets see.
any advice is welcome!
(last picture is my dry tent the ladys will be moved into the flower tent on harvest day)
First grow so just asking for opinions and advice
Mephisto Genetics Old School Blues.
I am a first time grower, my plants are doing great but I've noticed these for a few days.
A couple of my plants have these spots. They are smaller, and further along than all my other plants. Along with these spots, it also feels like they are ripening very slowly compared to my other plants. Their pistils are turning orange much slower than my other plants. This may be genetics, I don't know. I don't know if theyre related or not.
Any ideas? Thank you
Day 56, 40x40x160 tent, sf1000d 100w, biobizz nutes
Just a little update after posting a week or so ago. This plant has been a more sensitive to nutrients and Ph levels as my last one. First grow i was able to feed exactly how the Biobizz Guide says for allmix soil without issue. This time around ive had to adjust a few times. Over the last few days im seeing some older growth yellowing and the Internet is telling me she needs nitrogen so im boosting nitrogen nutes to see how she reacts. My plan is to switch back to Fish Mix for boost in nitrogen and maybe alternate Fish and Bio grow so its not to much. After all the feedback i also switched to my sf1000d light and she has stopped stretching but did stretch a bit after the switch. Ive spread the canopy as much as i could allowing some light deeper to the plant. But anything more requires a larger tent. Thanks everyone for your tips and feedback its helping me get through my second grow.
I know it’s not ready yet, but I’m not sure how much she’s actually growing vs just foxtailing.
Tangerine dream auto Barney’s Farm, 3.5L bag. It barely fits into my small space, hence the foxtailing. I’m using 3x18W Supergreenlab pannels which are now dimmed to ~60%.
First time doing DWC and amazed at the growth, but hitting some learning curves..
Outgrowing the 4x2 soon, hoping they finish up around day 75 😃
I'm sure many of you have heard a million times, don't transplant autoflowers.
I get the logic behind it. It's safe. Timing is key but the benefits of a successful transplant are huge. You will have such a more developed root system.
But with great reward, comes great risk. if you screw it up, you lose a day and it has the potential to affect your yield.
I've only done seed to final containier because my work schedule because it's one less thing for me to worry about.
For the people who do transplant autos and are happy with the results.
Could you please share your protocol?
What was the biggest mistake you made?
Really thinking about investing into auto watering pots. Always have feed/irrigated from the top. Can some folks give some pros and cons to this system? Also, maybe a little advice for what issues I may run into using these? Thanks yall. Stay lifted.
It's day 88 and I'm getting closer to chopping these four ladies (Playas Pimps and Hoz by Mephisto Genetics). If you had to guess, what to do you think yield will be?
I want to have the grove bags ready but not sure what size to get.
They are in 3x3' tent.
TLDR: last few grows I’ve had nothing but issues like this. How can I avoid this with the least amount of money?
Edit: these leaves do this at all stages not just veg
I know genetics can be different, but my last 3 grows have all done this. Yellow leafs, and small plants. These are GSC, the first time I grew them they were huge bushes and now these are about 18in max. Is this just cal-mag issue? I started to reuse my dirt (just started) so I get if that’s why this grow sucks, I don’t add nutes and let the water sit for at least 24hrs before I water them, but I am not able to measure the PH. What are some cheap options I can do to avoid this for future grows? TIA
I read it that might be nitrogen toxicity but I was wonder what you all think? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
Once my other three ladies flip I'll harvest all my herbs which is opal basil and mint, a friend's starter plant is tucked in among the herbs. I have plenty of space for them all in flower, my light isn't even running at it's full wattage yet - 548 watts vs 900 watts. The strains are 4 strawberry cheesecake auto with 3 comet candy autos from Seedsman seeds and Multiversebeans respectively.
I don't mind the staggered auto flip since I can have two different harvest times of the same strains. So 8 weeks for the babies would be 10 weeks for the elders, milky white peak vs amber on the others. If need be I can also stagger harvest.
Light is from a company called Koniea I got it from watching Migro Koniea 4 channel adjustable spectrum 900 watt review on YouTube. It's been going strong for two years, two grows a year. This is my fifth grow with her, I use the AC infinity self watering bases with soil that I mixed with worm castings, perlite and grow dots.
I do rather did foliar spray my plants twice a week with silica and fulvic and humic acid, also once a week I'll let the bases dry out and I'll water from the top using pH'd silica water with recharge, and more fulvic & humic acid. I do top my plants and they get heavy lst by tying branches down and using garden stakes when young that's why you see my other plants so short besides then being indica strains they're being held down before they stretch.
It’s been 2 days since I transplanted my now 8/9 days auto’s and I’ve been wondering if it would be beneficial to give them additional light durning the night when I take them inside.
They get at least 13 hours of direct sunlight durning the day, the question is if it’s enough for them or maybe those night hours with some light on would really do a noticeable difference for me.
Im afraid of exceeding their DLI, stressing them and doing more harm than good.
I was thinking two of those full spectrum grow lights/bulbs would be a safe way to go- low cost and low risk of giving them too much light.
The Cake Pops really was an easy grow. Wish they all were that simple. The Twilight princess probably could have gone about lil longer.
My lights are only 30% and it's 18 to 20 in high and my hanging fan is 18 in from the plant
