Glorious day

Glorious day

Did a little drive up into the mountains of Montana yesterday, north of where we live....at least a dozen different wildflowers, birds and butterflies. Roads were good, people mostly being sane.

A little drive up i to the hills yesterday....

We love to drive up Hogback (Beaver Creek up past Refrigerator Canyon) around the 4th to see all the flowers. This year we went to escape the heat. It was a gloriously beautiful day, birds and butterflies and at least a dozen different wildflowers blooming.

E Reader Newby!

I am nearing retirement and my funds won't happily cover the amount of money I spend every year on books, even buying them used, So I'm making the leap to an ereader and just ordered a Kobo libra color. Was hoping for a larger screen, but the bigger one isn't waterproof and I read in the bathtub to relax.

I have the Libby account, so am planning to borrow a lot of books from the local library system as well as our state library which should be interesting. If I like it well enough, I'll probably also buy books here and there.

I'm hopeful that using an ereader will work for me. I can't stand reading on the computer or my phone, or tablet.

I'm looking forward to kobo ereader tips and tricks in this sub though!

Seeking source for jewelry for metal allergy issues

EDITED TO UPDATE

Thank you all so much for helping me with details on terminology and on finding sources for what might work better!!!

Original Post: Since I was 16 and got my ears pierced, I've struggled with keeping the lobes healthy. I knew nickel is an issue and transitioned to only gold and silver. However, some of my gold and silver cause issues, inflammation, itching and swelling.

I have a weirdo skin condition anyway, so went in finally for metals sensitivity testing and am allergic to:

Vanadium
Palladium
Manganese
Copper
Nickel

which means that probably most plated metals are "out" for me.

I've done multiple searches online for solid gold (18 and 24K) and solid sterling silver, but results are misleading. Platinum and Titanium would also work.

Can anyone help me with finding a source for gold, silver, platinum or titanium that aren't plated?
