Rose Candy in Porosus… this color really stands out

This one caught my eye while we were working on it.

It’s a Birkin 30 in Rose Candy Shiny Porosus, and the color looks completely different once it’s on crocodile. The glossy finish really brings out the scale pattern, especially across the front and sides.

I also like how the Birkin 30 balances this kind of strong color. It’s big enough to show off the leather and the scale placement, but still has that classic shape.

The brighter pink with the natural Porosus pattern gives it a pretty bold look without needing much else.

Would you wear a Rose Candy Birkin, or is this pink a little too much?

If you’re interested in my bags, feel free to reach out.

That Rose Extreme is hard to ignore

A little bit of red, but definitely not a quiet one.

This Kelly Mini in Rose Extreme Matte Alligator has a really strong look. The matte finish keeps the color from feeling too glossy, while the alligator texture gives it plenty of depth. The PHW works nicely here too — it keeps the overall look sharp without taking attention away from the leather.

I think the Mini Kelly works especially well with a color like this. Small size, but the color gives it a lot of presence.

Would you go for a bold red like this, or choose something more understated?

Black on Black, but with a little contrast

There’s something about a black Birkin that never really gets old.

This one is a Birkin 25 Touch, combining black alligator on the flap, handles, and other Touch details with black Togo on the main body.

I like the way the two leathers change the look of the same black color. The alligator has that distinctive scale pattern and a more pronounced texture, while the Togo body has a softer, grainier appearance. The PHW keeps the whole combination clean and understated.

It’s a pretty simple color combination, but the different textures give the bag more depth without making it feel busy.

Would you go for a black Touch like this, or keep the whole bag in one leather?

Is Blue Lin too fresh for a Kelly Pochette? 💙

I really like how Blue Lin works on this Kelly Pochette.

The color has a very light, clean feeling to it — soft blue without being too bright. With the natural texture of ostrich leather, it feels a little more interesting than the same color on a smooth leather.

I think this kind of color works especially well for someone who likes a more understated look. The Kelly Pochette is already small and easy to carry, so a fresh color like this makes it feel more relaxed and less formal.

It would be an easy choice for daytime — brunch, shopping, lunch, or even a summer evening out. And because of the size, it doesn’t really need to be treated as a “special occasion only” bag.

The Gold Hardware also works nicely here. The warm gold against the cool blue gives it just enough contrast without taking away from the color.

Personally, I think this is one of those combinations that looks simple at first, but gets more interesting the longer you look at it.

Would you carry a Kelly Pochette in this kind of light blue?

Do you know which color is only made for Ostrich?

Finished this Kelly Pochette in Rose Bubblegum Ostrich recently.

Rose Bubblegum is a very unique shade. It has a soft and playful pink tone, but when paired with ostrich leather, it creates a completely different feeling — elegant, delicate, and full of character.

This color is especially known for being used with ostrich leather, where the natural quill pattern adds another layer of texture and depth. The combination of the smooth pink tone and the natural ostrich texture makes the whole piece stand out.

For this Kelly Pochette, the focus was on keeping the classic structure and proportions. The clean silhouette, sharp edges, stitching details, and overall shape come together to create a balanced finished look.

A small bag, but with a very distinctive presence. What do you think of Rose Bubblegum on ostrich leather?

A beautiful batch of Matte Rouge Sellier Alligator leather

Just received this batch of Matte Rouge Sellier Alligator leather for a Kelly 32 project.

Before becoming a finished bag, every piece starts with selecting the right leather. It takes three full alligator skins to complete the whole bag, making the selection of each hide very important.

Rouge Sellier is a deep and elegant shade. On matte alligator, the color feels even more special — the low-shine finish allows the natural scale pattern to stand out, giving the leather a rich and refined appearance.

What I enjoy most about exotic leather is that every skin has its own character. The scale size, pattern, and texture are never exactly the same, which makes each finished piece unique.

Looking forward to seeing how this leather transforms into a Kelly 32.

What kind of alligator Birkin 25 would you choose?

There is something special about Fauve on matte alligator.

The warm brown tone brings out the natural beauty of the scales, giving the bag a timeless and elegant feeling. The matte finish keeps the texture subtle, allowing the pattern of the alligator skin to become the main focus.

The Birkin 25 size gives this exotic leather a nice balance — compact, structured, but still with a strong presence. The PHW hardware also adds a clean contrast to the warm tone of Fauve.

A combination that feels classic without being too loud.

Would you choose Fauve for an alligator Birkin 25, or do you prefer other colors?

This shade of green hits differently on a Mini Kelly

I have to say, Vert Comics is a really fun color to see on a Mini Kelly.

At first glance, the color immediately catches your attention — it’s bright, fresh, and full of energy. But once you look closer, the matte alligator texture brings a completely different feeling. The scales soften the boldness of the green and give it a more refined look.

The Mini Kelly shape works really well with this kind of color. The small size keeps the color playful, while the structured silhouette gives it a more elegant balance.

Sometimes a strong color doesn’t need much else. The combination of Vert Comics and matte alligator already creates a very unique character.

Curious how others feel about this shade — would you choose a bold color like this for a Mini Kelly?

Kraft on Matte Alligator — A Quiet but Beautiful Combination

Kraft is a color with a warm and natural character. It carries a soft earthy tone that feels timeless and understated.

On matte alligator, this color becomes even more subtle. The matte finish reduces the shine and allows the natural scale pattern to become the focus, creating a refined and elegant texture.

This Mini Kelly shows the beauty of combining a compact silhouette with exotic leather. The structured shape, clean edges, and detailed scale arrangement highlight the craftsmanship behind this small piece.

A classic color choice with the unique character of matte alligator.

Kelly Pochette Blue Lin Ostrich | A Soft and Elegant Combination

Blue Lin is a delicate shade with a calm, airy feeling. On ostrich leather, the natural texture adds depth to this soft blue tone, making the color appear more dimensional and refined.

This Kelly Pochette features a compact silhouette with clean structure and balanced proportions. The smooth edges, neat stitching, and structured shape highlight the craftsmanship of this small but distinctive piece.

The Gold Hardware brings warmth to the cool tone of Blue Lin, creating a beautiful contrast while keeping the overall look elegant and understated.

A simple color combination, but the exotic texture and classic shape give it a unique presence.

Birkin 20 in Vert d’Eau Matte Alligator — finished piece

Now completed, this piece shows the full structure and silhouette of the bag. The Sellier construction gives it a clean and defined shape, with sharp edges and a strong presence despite its compact size.

The overall proportions of the Birkin 20 work beautifully with the matte alligator leather. The scale alignment, stitching details, and structured form come together to create a balanced and refined appearance.

The Gold Hardware adds a warm contrast to the soft green tone, bringing more depth to the overall look without taking away from the elegance of the leather.

Vert d’Eau is a particularly beautiful choice for this size. Its soft and refreshing tone complements the compact shape of the Birkin 20, creating a piece that feels delicate while still having a distinctive character.

A finished example where color, exotic leather, and structure come together naturally.

Birkin 20 Vert d’Eau Matte Alligator | A Soft Touch of Color

Vert d’Eau is a color that feels calm and refreshing.

It sits between soft green and a hint of blue, creating a delicate tone that looks especially beautiful on matte alligator. The matte finish allows the natural texture of the scales to stand out, giving the color a more subtle and elegant appearance.

This Birkin 20 is made in Sellier construction, with crisp edges and a structured silhouette. The Gold Hardware (GHW) adds a warm contrast to the soft tone of Vert d’Eau, creating a more elegant and luxurious balance.

The scale placement, stitching, and proportions come together nicely on this piece. Even with a soft color like Vert d’Eau, the exotic leather texture gives the bag enough character and depth.

A small size with a distinctive presence.

Birkin 20 Beton Matte Alligator | Clean, Crisp & Elegant

There’s something incredibly clean about Beton.

Unlike a bright white, Beton has a soft grey undertone that gives it a quieter, more refined look. It feels fresh without being overly bright, making it surprisingly versatile throughout the year.

Paired with matte alligator and the Sellier construction, the sharp edges and structured silhouette become even more defined. The Palladium Hardware (PHW) complements the cool tone perfectly, creating a clean and balanced appearance.

This Birkin 20 is now in its final stage of production. The scale placement is well balanced, the stitching is clean, and the structured shape gives the bag a sharp, elegant profile from every angle.

A combination that feels modern, elegant, and timeless.

💬 Would you choose Beton for a Birkin 20?

Birkin 25 Fauve Matte Alligator | Timeless Craftsmanship

There’s something about Fauve matte alligator that never goes out of style.

The warm brown tone brings out the natural depth of the leather, while the matte finish keeps it elegant and understated. Under different lighting, the scales reveal subtle variations, giving the bag a rich, layered look without being overly glossy.

This Birkin 25 is now fully finished. The leather selection, scale placement, saddle stitching, and overall proportions all come together in a clean, balanced way. The white contrast stitching highlights the shape beautifully, while the Palladium Hardware (PHW) adds a crisp, modern touch.

Every alligator skin is unique, so each bag has its own individual scale pattern. That’s one of the details that makes exotic leather so special.

A classic combination that looks just as beautiful today as it will years from now.

💬 Would you choose Fauve with PHW or GHW?

From One Skin to Precision Cuts 🖤

Every bag starts with a single skin.

The first few photos show a full matte black alligator skin before cutting. This is where we study the scale pattern and carefully decide where each panel should be placed.

Next comes the cutting process. Each piece is positioned by hand, making sure the scales stay balanced and symmetrical once the bag is assembled.

The pieces in these photos are being cut for a Birkin 25 Touch—specifically for the flap and the handles.

Once everything is cut, you can really see how clean and precise each panel is. The scales are carefully matched, the edges are smooth, and every piece is ready for the next stage of craftsmanship.

I always enjoy this part of the process. It’s amazing to watch a single skin gradually become the most distinctive details of a finished bag.

💬 Have you ever seen how exotic leather is prepared before it becomes part of a handbag?

Black Lizard Up Close 🖤

Here’s a closer look at a Mini Kelly in Black Lizard, currently being hand stitched.

Lizard leather has a very different personality from alligator. The scales are much finer and more uniform, giving it a clean, refined texture that almost looks like tiny beads under the light.

Black is good color to highlight this leather. From a distance it looks simple, but up close the natural texture really stands out.The stitching is still in progress, so you can even spot a few loose threads before the final finishing.

💬 Are you more into Lizard or Alligator? Which texture would you choose for a Mini Kelly?
