[App] Arc — an adaptive triathlon/endurance training app that adjusts to your recovery (iOS + Apple Watch)

I decided I'm going to train for a 70.3 triathlon a couple years out, and when I went looking for a training app I hit the same walls every time: rigid plans that fall apart the first time real life interferes, or "smart" ones that cost a fortune and want you living in a spreadsheet. So I built the app I actually wanted.

What it does:

Readiness-aware — pulls HRV, sleep, and resting HR from HealthKit and adjusts the day's training to how recovered you actually are

Adaptive plans — miss a week, get sick, or travel? It reshapes your plan toward your goal race instead of just marking you "behind"

Built for the long haul — multi-month builds, ideal for a slow ramp to a big race

Apple Watch app + widgets/complications — today's session and your readiness score at a glance

Pods — small groups to share streaks and keep each other honest

Privacy: your health, plan, and readiness data stays on your device and in your own iCloud — Arc doesn't collect it or track you.

Happy to answer any questions about the app or the build. Feedback very welcome — I'm using it every day for my own training, so I'm highly motivated to keep improving it. 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

I have ADHD and depression, so I built the habit tracker I actually needed — no streaks that punish you

I'm a solo dev (Largent Labs), and Tend is pretty much a direct response to my own brain.

I have ADHD and depression. For years, every habit app I tried made things worse, not better. The streak counter would hit 30, I'd miss one day because that's just how some weeks go, and watching it reset to zero felt like proof I'd failed. The guilt did more damage than the missed habit ever did. Add a subscription nag and a social feed on top, and I'd delete the app within a week.

I built the opposite of that:

**Grace Days.** You set 0–3 forgiving days per habit. Miss one, your streak survives. It exists specifically because "one bad day shouldn't erase three good weeks" is something I needed the app to understand.

**Flexible scheduling** — X times a week, every N days, a specific day of the month. Because "every single day, no exceptions" is a setup for failure when your energy isn't consistent.

**No gamification, no streak-shaming, no social feed.** The point isn't perfection, it's showing up more than you don't.

**Fully private.** The insights and AI coach run entirely on-device — nothing about my habits or my off days leaves my phone. No account, no server.

It's a one-time $0.99, no subscription. It needs iOS 26.

I'm not claiming it treats anything — it's just the gentlest, least judgmental tracker I could make, built by someone who needed exactly that. If you've got a brain that the usual productivity apps weren't built for, I'd really value your honest feedback.
