Canister vacuum for hardwood floors/area rugs/pets?
Hi all, I am sorely in need of a new vacuum cleaner. I have all hardwood floors with just a few area rugs, and I have a large dog that sheds an insane amount. I vacuum pretty much daily. I currently have an upright Shark that I absolutely loathe, and I definitely want to switch to a bagged canister vacuum. In the limited research that I’ve done, I’ve seen repeated recommendations for the Miele Classic C1 Pure Suction, but I’ve also seen some pretty negative reviews specifically about its floorhead. Anybody have any insight on this? Or other recommendations that would meet my needs? I’m honestly looking to spend as little as possible while still getting something quality that will hopefully last a good while. The Miele is just over $300 on amazon right now, which feels doable. I could maybe go $400 but really don’t want to go any higher if at all possible. Thanks!
