How much cg matters in placements if a guy is below 7 with good skills and another with 9 plus with less skills who is more likely to get a better offer or get placed

So I have an upcoming placement season in a tier 1.5 college how should I prepare for online test I have done some basic level dsa till now 30-40 percent striver sheet so how should I prepare from now is completing striver sheet and giving contest enough
