cultural resource management archaeology
I wondeer if Milo would ever be interested in doing a short vid on crm archaeology (in the usa) even just as like, a concept.
It's really not well known in the public sphere (or even construction which augh) but is exactly who the professionals he mentioned in the Bad Dürrenburg Skeleton vid (folks who show up for an unanticipated discovery) and generally are also the folks who try to make sure burials and archaeological sites (and historic buildings etc) are found BEFORE construction starts. Surprise cemeteries are more common than you'd think.
Also just like, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, ARPA, NAGPRA, Tribal Historic Preservation Officers (THPOs) etc. You would not believe how many looks I get explaining that yes, we do actually have laws about this, and yes the SHPOs can and will befucken your ability to get funding if you ignore them
idk itd be neat to see my field discussed lol
skittles thunderdome funky genes continue
more of my weird wild neos
loach and eel pile
the kuhlis adopting the spiny eels as just weird fellow kuhlis cracks me up every time. steve (spiny eel) tends to end up in noodle piles the most and was smaller than nearly all the kuhlis when he arrived so it makes sense. was the only eel for a while too
funky wild neos
a pair of my odder looking wilds (from a multi gen with occasional new blood skittles population)
absolute unit of one of my myersi kuhlis with one of my baby spiny eels for scale (pointy noodle on right is about 3in long)
attempting to single handedly populate the spiny eel search results with pics of my babies cause there's a shocking lack of spiny eels in here. they're such goobers
(macrognathus circumcinctus)
one of the odder shrimp from my neocardinia skittles tank going for about a year. i occasionally add in a couple new shrimp with whatever color i see and thought looked neat. has resulted in a wide variety of wilds, solid colors of various opacities, rilis and deeply weird stuff like above
