"Movie so good it made me a creationist"
-Potential Young Milo Rossi
I faintly remember a youtube video where Milo passingly talks about different ancient individuals that were either born with disabilities / deformities and lived longer than expected because others cared for them or they were gravely injured and healed. I can't remeber in which video this was. Can somebody help me out, I'd like to rewatch that specific part. Thx
The totally not autistic urge to make a replica of the "Gaulish boomerang" found on the coast of mondern day Normandy .
I'm bored, and making a Miniminuteman bingo card! Feel free to add any other ideas. I'm going to do a version of things he does and one of conspiracy buzz words
They're theorising the altar stone travelled from Scotland on dislodged glacial ice before landing in Dogger Bank, then dragged the rest of the way.
What do ya'll think? Seems... Interesting, for sure xD
In the photo is Archeologist Abdul Wahab Ferozi, an archeologist in Kabul who specialized in recovering Buddhist artifacts for museums. He was heavily involved in the fight to preserve the ancient Buddhist city of Mes Aynak, which also occupies one of the world’s largest copper reserves making it the target of mining companies. But on top of mining companies, it was viewed as an anti Islamic monument by the Taliban. In 2018, Abdul was killed by a bomb on his way to work. He is one of several archeologists attacked of killed by terrorist cells.
For years, groups like Isis and the Taliban have been destroying religious monuments and relics, islamic or otherwise. What they don’t destroy they steal and sell to hobby lobby to fund their movements. Archeology is a dangerous line of work. In Syria, archeologists and volunteer groups braved snipers and shells to protect the world heritage site Palmyra. Archeologist Khaled Al Asaad successfully removed relics from Palmyra before ISIS captured the city. In 2015 he was kidnapped, tortured and murdered for not giving up the artifacts locations.

I recently rewatched this episode and it rekindled my interest in the rocks with string.
I’m plaiting a Balearic style sling and setting up a “range” in my yard to practice with tennis balls.
slinging.org is a great resource and community.
I only know this subreddit recently from watching the r/althistory r/alternativehistory video. So yea what other similar edutainment/debunking channels do y'all watch? Me personally I watch Liam (the B E A N S guy), Overly Sarcastic Productions (aaaaaaaaacccccceeeeeeeeeeee), Professor Dave Explains, BiologíaDesdeCero (the most serious channel about biology, trust), QuantumFracture, Kuvina aaaaaaaand MinuteEarth
Is it still a thing?
......
Whole wall = no obvious weak spot
No weak spot = harder to break through
Harder to break through = safe.
Or
Castle entrance = survived centuries
Survived centuries = probably built properly
Built properly = safe.
Or
Tiny person = door is enormous
Enormous = someone spent a lot of money on it
A lot of money = they probably didn't cheap out on security.
