Edit: It was a Discord scam. I reported and blocked the person who sent it to me. The problem is solved.

Here's the way this chat has gone.

Other user: "Hey there! I hope you don't mind me asking, but have you been sharing links recently, or do you have a second account?"

Me: "I don't have a second account. I've...occasionally shared links, but not that much. Why?"

Other user: "is this you? I'm asking because I accidentally clicked on a suspicious link that was sent to me via DM. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a phishing scheme that compromised my account. My account was then used to target other users. I believed you were the one who sent me the link since you had the same profile picture, name, and similar u/. After I managed to recover my account, I mistakenly reported your account for hacking and scamming me, as I couldn’t identify the actual username of the person responsible.

I'm thinking that you got impersonated, I can forward you a screenshot of the account and I also got an email from Reddit and I want to show it to you. I only have a screenshot of the account I couldn't find it anymore they must have changed it."

Me: "It's...probably this one troll who targeted me for a while. They started harassing me about 3 months ago, and stopped 1 month ago. I suspect it's them because one of the accounts they used to harass me was named (Insulting variation on my account name)."

Other user: "heres the email from reddit Can you help me make an (apeal) about this issue? Inform the reddit support that I made a mistake. Would it be okay for you? I mean I just don't want to lose your account."

Other user: "I'm sorry that I made a mistake and input your account instead of the impersonator, I was instructed to inform you about it and to ask you to speak with the assigned support. This is to help clear your name and account of this issue. Please add and message them on Reddit Support Discord ID: (Not putting it here until I know more)"

Me: "How do I do that?"

Other user: "For the apeal process, please contact the support representative who handled this report. The Discord ID provided below belongs to the support agent assigned to this case and can be used to reach out for further assistance regarding your apeal.

just make an apeal to the stated support tell them that it wasnt you that you have been impersonated

(there were a bunch of screenshots, too. They said they got a screenshot from Reddit saying my Reddit account would be deleted in 12 hours if I didn't go to a Discord something.)
