Erha Manga Project: Terminated

Well. I guess the artist Yamano Ayame has made some red flag remarks in the past about China and S Korea and is now receiving backlash. The Chinese company working with the Manga publishers, have unanimously terminated the project with the artist and black listed the artist. Here is the official statement on weibo. I don't know if they'll be getting a different artist. But I'm guessing the project is now on a massive hold or (perhaps) terminated.

I guess it was too good to be true. It's unfortunate that a legend like Ayano has said awful things about the country that she is working on a project that's based out of China and has a Chinese author.... Like.. Why?

Another adaptation ended before it even started. 😢

EDIT:

I saw a post from the company Libre Co., Ltd that translated:

>In response to this matter, after repeated discussions with all relevant parties, we have decided to terminate the project.

So it seems like it's completely terminated. :(

NextChapter List Maker

Are you tired of having infinite screenshots scattered all over your phone's gallery for recommendations? Tired having nfinite tabs, bookmarks on your browser, saved reddit post, lezhin list, tappytoon list, goodreads list, novelupdates list, saved twitter (X) and Instagram post, etc etc and getting those precious stories lost into the abyss forever?

Many people had many lists lost from, yes, the illegal website that starts with the B, become lost when it got taken down. Well... fear not my manhwa/manga/manhua/novel lovers! This website is a great place to keep track of your ALL of your favorite and maybe not so favorite reads.

NextChapter dot moe (erase the dot and put an actual dot)

A place where you can -not only- create list, but a place where you can make poles, create articles, comment, review, make friends all in ONE location. The creators got inspired by the recent disappointment and sadness of people all over the world losing their list from said website. No, this website is NOT a place that endorses nor encourages illegal reading but is simply a place for fans to interact and do all the things I mentioned, and more.

This place is NOT an illegal website where you read stories, but an interactive website made by fans, for fans. Of course, this isn't to take away all the greatness that comes with reddit, but I hope it brings an additional place of happiness to you all as it does for me.

I hope this isn't breaking any community guidelines because this is all legal and free. It's a place for bl/gl/ and story lovers like us!

Panguan Question

Okay so I have a few questions. I know I could search through all the threads, but I feel like I can't find exactly the answers I'm looking for.

Maybe someone here knows the story well. I'm very close to finishing the novel and I could have sworn I read something around the lines that:

🔸 When Wen Shi was going in and out of the cages in his youth, he was releasing all of this the karmic debt or "negative energy" and Chen Budao pretty much absorbed all of that energy and took it upon himself or something?

I can't remember what chapter this was on.

I also remember Bu Ning saying something along the lines of:

🔸 when Chen Budao was gone for long stretches of time, he was doing so clearing that debt Wen Shi had let out or something with the Soul Cleansing Exchange?

Perhaps I really misunderstood. But if someone can help me understand because if I did misunderstand:

🔸 What all did Chen Budao do for Wen Shi that "demonstrated" his love? As in, what sacrifices did he do besides absorbing the world's karmic debt?

I think it's clear cut in understanding what Wen Shi did and why, but I'm having trouble connecting all the dots of Chen Budao. I'm struggling and snailing through the novel because I'm a bit confused at times.

I wish I didn't read this when I was tired af. The writing style is hard for me to engage with, but I'm still interested in the plot.
