I recently started a basketball uniform manufacturing business and I’m trying to figure out the most legit/effective way to reach coaches and basketball clubs.

We’re open to sponsoring some club teams with uniforms as well, especially if it helps build long-term relationships and credibility.

For those who’ve worked with teams, coaches, or sports organizations:

What outreach methods actually work?

Is cold DM/email outreach worth it?

Are tournaments and AAU events better for networking?

How do smaller/new uniform brands earn trust early on?

Would appreciate any real advice from people in the space.
