Few ideas have been tried as often and as widely worldwide as rent control. Guess what happens all the time?

>To use a quote many of us have heard in econ 101 classes

"In many cases, rent control appears to be the most efficient technique presently known to destroy a city—except for bombing."

They are both great directors.

And on the third hand you have the radical centrist, Warring Hedgehog or something, who goes on set in Latin America to film a ship being carried over a mountain, and then makes the ship ten times the size, and still carries it over a mountain.

Washington Post Investigation shows former DNI Tulsi Gabbard's Spiritual Advisor probably advised her politically. Here are some of the positions on the political compass.

The article's timing has been questioned as it coincides with a trope of Tulsi Gabbard's revelations in her last days about government official lies in Covid, more revelations that the US was running biolabs across the world, including conflict zones, that it was conducting research the government had deemed dangerous and illegal, the government suppressed internal Intelligence Whistleblowers, etc.

In defense of the Clinton 1994 Crime Bill and Tough on crime laws

While Blacks are in prison in disproportionate numbers, major crimes are disproportionately committed by blacks. Most of the victims of these crimes committed by blacks are also black.

The 1994 crime bill benefitted black neighborhoods far more than any others. The improvements in the safety of these neighborhoods made them vibrant and prosperous again.

Libleft and libright's efforts to roll these tough on crime laws back is misguided and hurts the very community that it seeks to help.

Edit: Looks like the stats in the graphs are exaggerated, this post will be deleted at EOD.

Is there a way to bring your own Kayaks to Lake Artemesia

I know there are kayak rentals. I don't want to rent. Are there any local options for kayaking other than Bladensburg?

Tulsi Gabbard resigns as director of national intelligence

", I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer.
