I'm dealing with a hockey related shoulder injury and am looking for a good PT in the area. Looking to get back into sports more than needing to restore day to day function. TIA!
The Baltimore Ravens will hold a training camp practice at the University of Maryland's SECU Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 1, beginning at 11 a.m.
The ticketed practice is free to the public. Starting Thursday, July 9, fans can reserve tickets at baltimoreravens.com/stadiumpractice or via the Ravens Mobile App.
The training camp practice will offer a post-practice autograph session for children ages 6-12. Additionally, the event will feature interactive children's activities and fan activations, plus appearances by the Ravens Cheerleaders and performances by Baltimore's Marching Ravens.
The training camp practice represents the Ravens' inaugural fan engagement event in Prince George's County. In April, the NFL updated its policy governing team marketing territories. The change expanded the Ravens' home marketing area to include Prince George's County and Montgomery County (both shared with the Washington Commanders), giving the Ravens formal access to engage fans there through community programs, school visits, flag football, watch parties, and local content.
I’ve lived in Maryland for 12 years and this is the first time I have ever seen one in person! Second photo is from the Merlin Bird ID app.
Hey everyone! I’m currently a high school student, and things have been going really well for me academically. Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the future and how I should start preparing for college. I’ve tried asking my sister about how college actually works, what to expect, and all that, but she usually just brushes me off or just acts like the Grinch for no reason whatsoever, and my parents delay the question so. Because of that, I’m pretty much completely in the dark about how the whole college system operates. If anyone could share their personal experiences or give me a basic rundown of what college life is like, I would really appreciate hearing from multiple perspectives
To give you some background on what I want to do: I'm an aspiring author, screenwriter, and director. I absolutely love writing, making my own stories, and I've even been published in a literary magazine, for both Fiction and Non-Fiction. This summer, I’m actually working on creating my own short film. Naturally, I’m looking at UMD as a major option for Creative Writing and Film, and I want to know if the program is as good as it sounds. I did some digging before posting this and saw an older thread where someone mentioned that UMD’s courses focus mostly on film analysis and history rather than actual hands-on filmmaking. It wasn't a letdown or anything, but then what brought hopes up was a comment on that same thread mentioned there was going to be a "film track" coming up. Does anyone know what that track actually is, or if UMD has added more production and scriptwriting classes recently? Like I said before, I don't know anything at all. I would love to get some honest feedback from current students or alumni in these fields. Are there good creative writing workshops? Do you get chances to actually direct or write screenplays, or is it mostly essay writing? Thank you all so much for any help or advice you can give. I'll be posting this in other subreddits to try and better my chances, if there's someone who's doing the same route I hope to do then please reach out, thank you!!!
Hey. 🫵 You. We need to call or send a message to Glenn Ivey about the KOSA/KIDS act.
Tomorrow, Congress will be voting on if it can pass or not. IT CANNOT PASS. What will entail is likely a descent into interconnected internet data logging that will make existing online perpetually worse.

Do all you can, and spread the word. Please!
Reddit is trying to tell me this agenda pushing 💀 I dunno, I’m pretty sure everyone can at least agree on not having our faces or personal IDs linked to everything we do on the internet.
What are the best groups, clubs, or organizations in College Park or nearby?
Hello everyone!
I am a 14-year-old concept artist working on a historical visual research project, and I am looking for some help from the College Park community.
I am trying to reconstruct the exact 100% accurate drawings of the rare WWII US Army T-6A (M2) Infrared Driving Goggles (1944). Because almost all units were destroyed after the war, there are no clear blueprints or photographs of the base leather strap/harness system on the internet.
However, I know for sure that the original War Department Technical Manual (TM 5-9314 / FSN 6650-051-3673) is physically stored right here in your city, at the National Archives (NARA Archives II) on Adelphi Road.
I have attached a few images to this post to show my work: my current drawings and the единственное archival photo from the web that shows a completely different helmet-mounted version. I made a mistake on my drawing because I don't have the original blueprint for the strap version.
Since I am a kid with no budget, I cannot hire a commercial researcher. I am humbly asking if there is a local resident, student, or researcher who already plans to visit NARA Archives II, who wouldn't mind pulling this specific folder and snapping a few clear smartphone photos of the T-6A leather strap/head-harness blueprints for me.
I will absolutely credit your name on the final art pieces! Thank you so much for supporting a young creator and helping me bring this piece of history back to life.
