was recently gifted an f1 chrono and while i love the watch i dislike the aesthetics of the clasp; to me the text logo is kinda cheesy. so i purchased an older bracelet from an earlier model f1 on ebay with the fold over safety clasp and swapped it out.

ya ya i know the newer style clasp is milled and the old one i swapped it for is stamped, but i like the look and also the nostalgia. when i was younger i had a 2000 professional with a similar clasp and considered it a defining feature of the watch, now i’m reminded of that when i wear this one.

saw this at heuer boutique in caesar’s forum shops. design is a little over the top but so is vegas. i like the roulette wheel chapter ring.

for christmas i was gifted a Formula 1 Chrono (CAZ101AV.FT8077) but didnt wear it much bc I’m not a fan of the blue strap.

back in march i contacted Tag to purchase the metal bracelet (BA0842) and was quoted $240 but never pulled the trigger bc i wasn’t in a rush to wear it.

anyways, im attending a wedding next month and wanted to wear this watch so i reached back out to Tag to place the order… only to find out the price has gone up to $300, a 25% increase.

just a bit frustrating especially considering theres not many third party options given the 21.5 lug width.

has anyone found non oem metal bracelets at a decent price?
