I am so confused. Rather than going the way what if they had gone for the route that heer earns and supports Nawab so that he can focus solely on his passion and career, cricket?

Heer standing strong so that her husband can follow his dreams too… but all we get is everyone else forcing upon the old school idealism where only man needs to be the breadwinner of the family.

Nawab doesn’t think that way.
Heer doesn’t either.

But everyone else is tryna force the idealism onto them. What year are we in ? 1900s? Or 1800s?
