Claims adjuster wanting to change entirely.

Hi!

Any fellow claims adjuster make a change? I've been in this field close to five years and I want out of insurance entirely. The stress is affecting my physical and mental health I can feel it. I don't enjoy my life much outside of work anymore because I worry about what I'm coming back to.

I've been told there's underwriting, risk management etc but to be honest I'm wanting out of insurance in general.

Any advice or any success stories?

Anyone successfully change careers or know someone who completely changed?

Hello, fellow claims adjuster here been at it a short of 5 years. I've come to the conclusion that I'm burned out, I don't want to do this as a career any longer, hoping to find advice/stories of people who were successful in pivoting to something else.

It's the usual complaints I've heard: The stress, the crunch. I'd chalk it up to "well this is being an adult" but my health is declining because of it, both physically and mentally. I don't enjoy my life outside of work anymore. I went to the coast a few months ago and I may as well have been at my desk for example.

Anyway, enough rambling. Hoping to get advice on pivoting to something else. I'd take a pay cut at this point but what kind of careers do people typically transition to?
