Maxis Bottoming Out?

I’ve seen the odd report that after long sessions the Maxis seat cushion bottoms out, but I’ve also seen some people think the cushions actually quite firm…

If there’s anyone around 300lbs with the Manual or Electric, I’d like to hear your thoughts.

I created a review thread but the reports of bottoming out that I’ve seen have been elsewhere in comments etc so I thought I’d make another post specifically for this concern.

Maxis Review / Initial Impressions Thread

While I’m waiting until early September for my Maxis Manual… I’d love to hear from people so far that have received theirs!

If you can include the model you have, how long you’ve been testing it and your height and weight, hopefully this could be a good place to gather everyone’s thoughts.

I think it’d also be good to know if you’ve experienced any bottoming out with the seat after the whole Omni saga!

Cheers :)

Maxis Warranty

Can anyone please clear up the warranty situation for me. I ordered the Maxis during the ‘early bird’ sale but DIDN’T pay the deposit that they offered a little while before and I remember reading if you paid that deposit you got a warranty extension.

Since they scrapped the deposit did the warranty extension also apply to the ‘early bird’ sales?

Currently on the site it’s showing 5 years on the frame and 2 years on electronics.

Cheers!

Thick Cable Recommendations

Hey guys,

I’m looking for a nice, thick cable (preferably black) for my Truthear Hexas. I’m getting kinda tired of the cables I own that all feel a bit lightweight and crappy.

I’m not looking to spend a lot, sub $30 would be great unless something seems really solid.

Thank you in advance :)

Budget Neutral/Bright Leaning Recommendations?

I typically use IEMs but like many I can get frustrated with discomfort after longer periods.

I bought some TRN EMAs on a whim to try out flatheads and they sound okay, but theyre very comfortable for casual use. My main IEMs are Truthear Hexas and I'm generally a fan of more neutral/bright tuning.

If anyone can steer me in the right direction it'd be very much appreciated. I'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed by all of the cheaper options and I'm trying to refrain from buying an excessive amount of cheap sets to discover I dislike half of them hahah.

Cheers!
