Have a bit of a weird one going on. I routinely check the crankcase breather tube and drain it to make sure it doesn't get full. It never fills up that much but after 400-500 miles of riding some oil will be in it. It's been that way for the almost 3 years I've owned it.

This year there's a light film of oil on the outside of the tube. The inside of the tube will still fill up with some oil but the outside is getting covered in a light film of oil as well. It doesn't appear that the drain cap you pull out is leaking so I'm assuming it's coming from the top? The film definitely goes up on the tube as far as I can see.

Just trying to figure out if this is normal or not. Since the tube is still filling with oil I know it's still attached, and I do my best to not pull hard when removing the cap. I cleaned it off a couple of months ago and noticed today there's a light film on it again.
