Due to Melton Level Crossing removal works, the v/line app is effectively useless until 1 Sep

My station is served by Geelong trains which afaik are unaffected by the works, but I get this pop up whenever I want to see upcoming services or use the journey planner. This must be a new thing cause I remember it used to show the services properly, just with an alert reminding you of the disruptions.

Is there some sort of workaround I'm unaware of? I can use the ptv app, but the ptv app doesn't show platform numbers at Southern cross and I find the next 5 feature pretty useful especially if I'm in a rush

Which one-hit wonder would you swap their one hit for another song in their discography?

Their career stills plays out exactly the same, except their big hit is swapped out with another song of theirs that they would perhaps be better off being known for

My pick would be Pseudo Echo (the aussie guys who covered Funkytown in Todd's worst of 87 video), their debut album was some pretty solid synthpop/new wave and any of its singles were much more deserving of being the group's big international breakthrough

Found for a couple bucks at the second hand shop yesterday

As a physical media geek, the album art and general presentation might be the best thing about it. Don't think I'll be able to stomach actually listening to the cd though

CONGRATS DIMMA!

8 losses and a draw at Marvel Stadium following you calling the venue soulless in 2021. Changing teams couldn't even end the curse, until Mac Andrew kicked the winner to end Essendon's season in 2024. We thought the curse was over, you'd won your last 3 games at the venue and today you had a 43 point lead against a North team that got demolished last week.

Then you slowly yet inexplicably let them back into the game. It was a goal-for-goal last quarter but then you managed to concede the final four goals of the game- two in the final minute. You lost to a team that never lead at any point during the game!

Now you know that Marvel Stadium hates you too!

Parked on a nearby residential street because station parking was full and got this note on my dashboard. Am I in the wrong for parking there?

I wasn't in a permit zone or timed parking spot and wasn't obstructing the road/anyone's driveway. No signage on street indicating parking for residents only, could there be some council (Brimbank) rule I'm unaware of or is this note a load of bs?

Fwiw there were plenty of other available spaces on that street, I don't think I was forcing anyone to park ages away from their house
