Hi, I (26F) am wanting to get into rollerblading for the first time and am a bit overwhelmed by all the brands, sizing and style options for blades and would love some suggestions for what to start out with.

Using the wall method my feet are 24.3 cm in length with socks on (I am usually a US size 8-8.5 in shoes) and I am primarily looking for outdoor urban/recreational use skates. I live in a smaller city and won't be using them for commuting, just for fun. I've read online that hard shell books are best for beginners so I am wanting to start there and would like to stay under $300 if possible.

Any advice or suggestions is so appreciated!
