Update on my "everyone is friendly" game: two empires control everything and are in a perpetual arms race

Well the peace didn't last long. The year is now 2018 and two theocratic empires have carved up the world and absorbed everything into their respective territories. Now they compete in a perpetual arms race (see last slide). France (me) and Arabia have been close allies since the dawn of Hinduism, but with nothing left to conquer, there's only one place left to turn...

Someone's been posting updates on their crazy game on here and it inspired me to boot up Civ 4 again. This game ended up being exactly what I wanted, competitive and exciting, alliances being formed and broken, empires rising and falling. I might do a writeup of its history, for my own sake. I can't believe how good this game can be.

Just one big love fest over here

Everyone on this continent has the same religion so its just been one long hug fest. Unfortunately I am pressed for resources so I may have to be the one to end the party.
