The actor who plays the male synth is n Badlands has to own the record for most on screen deaths right?

He’s probably got somewhere around 70ish deaths. Most of which required their own unique fight and death sequences.

Gotta be such a cool thing to brag about. “Yeah I died like 70 times in Predator:Badlands”.

Late edit: Sorry, I wasn't clear, I'm just meaning for a single movie. Not across a career or anything like that.

Algea: God of Pain (Review)

So this movie is equal parts interesting, weird and confusing.

It's essentially an anthology of different people committing crimes and then experiencing their own unique, art house version of hell. The main antagonist, who I think is Algea is pretty cool and interesting and certainly disturbing. There's a small level of Hellraiser, in that the people who commit crimes 'summon' the god of pain, but make no mistake, there's no where near the level of violence, torture or anything close to it, so don't expect that.

Unfortunately, it gets real repetitive. Also, seems to inexplicably take place like 20 years in the future? And again, for a movie called God of Pain, there isn't much in the way of violence or anything.

I think it's more of a social commentary than horror, but I don't know how else to classify it.

This movie probably should have been a short, specifically the opening 25 minute segment, which was by far the scariest and most interesting.

In fact you could get away with just watching the opening segment and get the gist and certainly experience Algea.
