My USC son filed my petition 12/25/25 for adjustment of status. I had a job and had to stop working due to cancellation of TPS. My job gave me a 1 year of absence that will up at the end of October 2026, if I don’t return by then I will lose my job. I was hoping to at least get a work permit before my time is up, but I have not received any updates.

I have read on here of congressional inquiries. My question is, who should do the inquiry? My USC son or can I do it myself? Which documents should I submit with it?
