Seriously, in S8, there are so many things that are just so unrealistically vacuous, especially in the episode where Everett crashes the plane, for example. Like how Nolan calls out the rat's name before trying to detain him (not a good idea). Or in the finale, where Nolan just sticks around in the ship after everybody's already gone down??? Why did he do that? There's literally ZERO need to do that, and even after the shooting starts, he decides to stick around for it instead of immediately jumping through the door.
